Damn you guys are good...thanks!

It would be nice to be able to key in the values on the sliders like you can in a DAW or on software plug ins. I think you could do this in the Pod HD Edit.

It works natively on my 2014 Dell Venue 11 Pro tablet with Windows 10 and i5 processor. Haven't tried it over splashtop yet though.

I just tested with my Mesa bass amp and one of my JBL 515XT Eons. Doing 1/4" Helix Left Output to 1/4" effects return of the Mesa M9, then XLR Left out of the Helix to 1/4" of the JBL sounded great. I ran the full Helix Amp+Cab models. SVT Beast and Cali 400 models sounded great. I have a Mesa 400+ and Helix does a great job on that model...and I don't have to deal with the tubes! With this setup, there is no need to configure two separate signal paths. Just set the what sounds good into the effects return of your amp. The sound guy will eq to as needed for the PA. Luckily the power sections of solid state bass amps are pretty clean. Bass cabs are sometimes bassier than PA cabs, but nothing that the sound man couldn't handle if you have the preset fine tuned to your bass cab. Going to try Helix on live bass now for the first time this Friday. Although it will be for a medium 100-200 person venue through my own amp. This particular guy I play with only has two 15" speakers on poles and no subs. I will just be running my Mesa M9 and 2x12 cab, no bass signal to the mains or monitors. So it's not really the exact configuration you are requesting. I'll probably go ahead and set my rig up 4CM so I can get the real preamp from the M9. But as 4CM will pass the preamp from the M9 effects send to the Helix, I still would probably only send the Helix Left XLR to the PA. I was considering taking a JBL Eon instead of the Mesa M9 2x12, but I REALLY like the sound of my bass rig at that venue.

On Windows 10 tablet mode touch screen, the model lists in the amp and effects blocks do not drop down with touch. The sliders work great though.

When using the beta Helix editor 1.10 with Windows 10 in tablet mode, the drop down lists for the model types on an amp or effects block does not expand with touch. Sliders are working great though.

Thanks! I have splashtop and will give it a shot. So now I guess I can tweak my Helix while I am at work...uh oh.

Added 2 more Recto IR's here on the top post and to Dropbox. The first one I posted was dark and deep, #2 is med-dark, and #3 is light...sort of like my Starbucks roasts that I am going to need tomorrow. Goodnight y'all!!!

Sorry. I forgot to mention that my presets have the IR in Helix Impulses slot #1.

Each of the 128 Helix presets within each of the 8 setlists (folders) sends a corresponding MIDI Program Change (PC) 0-127, which the RJM Amp Gizmo recognizes. Basically, just setup a Helix preset as you normally would, push the switch buttons on the RJM to switch what you want on the IRT, then push Write on the RJM. When you call up that Helix preset, the RJM will recognize the corresponding MIDI Program Change. The following would only be an issue for you if you used multiple setlists with the RJM. Note that MIDI Program Changes 0-127 are on presets 1-128, or banks 1-32, A-B, in each of the Helix setlists (folders), so calling up preset 01D in any of the setlists will send MIDI PC 004 and recall the same switch settings in the RJM. The MIDI Channel on the RJM is Channel 1 by default, as is the default Helix MIDI Base Channel. If you want to avoid possibly switching the RJM in more than one setlist, you can change the RJM MIDI Channel and set the corresponding Channel # and MIDI PC # on the Helix preset. Writing it up, it looks complicated, but with the Helix & RJM in front of you it's pretty simple and intuitive I think.

Helix MIDI Out works with my RJM Amp Gizmo and Mesa Mark V. Your setup should be the exact same, with only a different RJM amp cable. FYI, you can find the RJM Amp Gizmos on Reverb and eBay for a bit cheaper. Sometimes the cables, but the IRT is pretty new.

Posting my homebrew IR's with my corresponding Helix Amp and IR block (1024 & 2048 sample) presets to Dropbox. https://www.dropbox.com/sh/009bkqzooza1aop/AAADW09SLlp1wWpRd2evJJ0Ca?dl=0 Note that the Helix Impulse slot number I used in the presets is indicated at the end of the IR name (...HlxImp001.wav). You will probably want to rename them.

Thanks! I didn't know that was there. I'll post or link to them there. Sorry if I cluttered up this board with IR's.

I have added presets for both 1024 & 2048 IR samples. They are identical otherwise.

I dont have an IRT Studio, but I checked out the manual online. Obviously, you wont be able to connect the USB from the Helix to the USB from the IRT. It is a PC connection. There should be no issue with integrating IRT with Helix signal and routing wise via 1/4" cables and 4-Cable-Method (4CM). There is no MIDI connection on the IRT, only the DIN connection for its proprietary footswitch the FS4-IRT. I dont see any 1/4" switching jacks on the IRT either. If you want Helix to switch the IRT Channel, Clean, Reverb, and Boost functions that the FS4-IRT switches, you may need something like the RJM Amp Gizmo and custom cable. You would connect the Helix MIDI Out to the RJM MIDI In and the RJM IRT cable between the Amp Gizmo and IRT. https://www.rjmmusic.com/xcart/mini-amp-gizmo-midi-amp-controller.html https://www.rjmmusic.com/xcart/laney-ironheart-irt-studio-amplifier-interface-cable.html

I have attached my Helix IR test preset with my goal Amp and IR sound to the top post in this tread. You will need to change the exported preset "Brit Plex GB IR.txt " back to "Brit Plex GB IR.hlx" before importing to the Helix app.

Thanks man. FYI, I have attached my Helix IR test preset with my goal Amp and IR sound to the top post in this thread. You will need to change the exported preset "Brit 2204 S80 IR.txt " back to "Brit 2204 S80 IR.hlx" before importing to the Helix app.

I have also exported and attached (to the first post on this thread) my Helix test and tweak preset with the Cali Rectifire Amp and Mesa Recto SM57 IR. I had to change the file extension to *.txt to upload it to this site. You will need to change it back to *.hlx before importing to the Helix app.
