Had issues loading presets on last update as well. Didn't have any presets disappear, but had several changes to my midi commands, and parameter changes to many preamp blocks throughout all presets. Didn't take to long to fix it, but still no fun!

I got the preset change lag time blues! Praying that they can work something out on this elephant in the room. I've seen the pcb board in the helix with the dps chips on it in a youtube video, and there's plenty of room to spare. Would be great if they would slap two more of those chips in there and charge whatever they need to charge, I would gladly buy such a device. The Helix quad mod! I dunno, but dying for a solution in one form or another! My fantasy was that I would be able to stop tap dancing on stage, and just hit one button at a time, somewhere between 10-20 preset changes per song. Some day I hope, until then I'm locked in one preset per song.

Just a terrible let down huh!?! Was so excited till I found that out there's no spill over between presets. Perhaps my biggest issue with helix so far, and what needs attention the most.

The suspense is killing me!

saveing tuner output yes, but I often leave a loop playing while tune in between songs. It would be great if I had more options what the signal does while I'm in the tuner.

I still can't even figure out how to switch between exp1 and exp2? Any help would be much appreiciated.

Update: Used a friends computer OS X to re-install the first firmware update to get it running, then added v.1.02.2. Thankfully working right now.

My helix froze on "boot failure! entered update mode" when updating firmware v1.02.2 now computer (os x) is not recognizing helix. And there is a red face :O at the top left of the display screen and it is frozen... tried to reset, and the same message appears. Help.

Hi Duncann, okay I tried this. And it does bring up my presets, but as far as that main display screen goes it is blank... thanks for your help by the way. Update-- tried this again, as I have been trying resets all day and Voila! it's back on, holy cow!!!

Nice case suggestions, thinking I'll have to get a custom $$$ built case (if all works out with helix), for I still have my loopers and whammy (seeing as the helix wham just doesn't cut the mustard - with my heavy use of 5ths) so needing 40+'' by like 20+'' i know i know i've gone loopy..

I just followed the line 6 factory reset instructions. (Helix: Turn unit off and then back on. Hold in Footswitch 8,9,+12 right after you turn the unit on, throughout the boot process, until you see that your factory presets are loading) It doesn't quite make it to rebuilding preset over #1000 and the display screen goes blank again.

Update: I still cannot get the helix to work properly. I can turn it on, but the screen is blank, my presets are blank and nothing works. :( Now trying to get some help. Wish me luck! *Forgot to mention this is still happening after factory reset.*

I've had the helix for 6 days of which i've faithfully devoted all of my free time working with it. I Have come across several issues that need fixing, but nothing compares to having the screen go blank! can't imagine this happening on stage!!!starting to think I've made a huge mistake...
