I have midi loopback and it works for PC from instant commands in command center but when I send Command = "MIDI CC", MIDI Ch = "Base", CC# = 59, Value = 0 I get no change from my pedal controlling exp2 to exp1 exp2 is volume and it just stays there even after sending the instant command. Any ideas please how to get it to work ? I am not using a footswitch, just a snapshot that sends the instant command when chosen. Is this function supported in the Stomp XL ? Turning on the tuner works if I add 50ms delay oddly..... A CC68{value} command, sent with any value between 0 – 127, will toggle the Helix tuner on/off The joy of the Stomps are that they are so small. Having to get a 2nd expression pedal is not desired here if at all possible.

It looks like midi loopback will solve my problem and then I can simply send the midi commands with each snapshot. When I want wah or reverb mix or any param to adjust I'll just dedicate a snapshot to it.

After thinking about this more I'm guessing that "Bypass At Current Level" would not be possible because it would require the volume block to be active for the level to be applied unless the coders can change levels in the path without a block being required. Only they know that answer BUT, if they can control volume levels without blocks then they could do it. What say you devs ? Possible / Not Possible ?

For me, just a simple Cut/Paste would be great. Replace the orig location with new presets.

Take the snapshot with the amp block and bypass the fx send return block and the output will be fine. Switch your amp to a clean channel. In 4cm mode your output goes to the return of the real alp and bypasses the preamp.

On stomp xl, when I hit both up/down buttons quickly I shift to snapshot mode. When I press the mode switch it toggles between preset mode and stomp mode. Is there a way to get it to toggle between stomp mode a snapshot mode? Since I'm in snapshot mode I expected it to toggle between stomp and snapshot

If you drag a single preset it will swap with the one in its place. If you drag a block it will overwrite but leaves the copy where it was

Thanks but that's a painful workflow workaround. I know you mean well and I appreciate your time but this would be a very laborious way to reorder set lists and presets. I was afraid HX Edit was missing this core functionality.

Correct. Bank 1 would now be empty and have New Preset

I can copy presets but I would like to do either of these two operations. Select a block of presets and drag onto another preset and have it MOVE/overwrite, not copy Select a block of presets and right click CUT, then click on another preset and right click Paste and have it MOVE/overwrite, not copy. Is there a workaround to do this routine task please ? Thanks guys !

After checking the manual it seems to work properly but seems to take a minute or so to warm up when the unit is 1st turned on before it works.

I was trying to swap snapshots by touching my A and B switches but it didn't work. It worked when I did the other combinations like B to C or C to D? This thing is only a month old so I'm wanting to make sure I have all the functionality. So what's the best way to test all of the capacitive buttons and their functions?

The amps Sims already sound fantastic and don't need anything external

Just a note that if you do this you give up Stomp mode because that is what it uses.

Got it working great ! Thanks so much. I had to change to 6 footswitch mode but now I can have my volume pedal on the left of the Stomp XL and have easy access to the snapshots. You guys rock !

Sorry for the confusion but the manual refers to them as footswitches 1 through 6 and all of the videos I have seen refer to the up button at the top left as 1 and the 2 buttons next to it as 2 and 3 and then on the bottom row the down button is referred to as button 4 and then the next two buttons as 5 and 6. I have my volume pedal on the left of the Stomp XL and want to have buttons 1,2,,4 and 5 as snapshots and buttons 3 and 6 for preset Up/Down. Is this possible please ? Thanks !

You might also take the volume block and set it up how you want and then right click and make it a user default. That way it adds nicely to any future presets
