I loaded hx edit on my laptop and the noise is gone when connected over USB to the stomp xl even with the laptop power supply plugged in so at least that works.

Split the path into a right and left channel and run 2 IR blocks, pan then right and left.

I spoke with Dunlop on the phone because I have the same pedal and ended up using an insert cable with the TRS going into the helix and just one of the cables going into the pedal. Using just a TS cable I had intermittent problems so the insert cable was the good fix. That also leaves an extra TS connector for another pedal or switch. I had to press the blue button inside the DVP5.

No my problem is WHEN the USB is connected with my computer, the stomp gets crazy hi frequency noise.
-
Yeah you're totally right. Mine won't have any conditioning, just common ground. So what does your have ? Separate transformers on every tap ?
-
I have them all going into the same UPS

I have HX edit setup using the USB cable and the noise from the computer makes it unusable. Do you guys have any suggestions ? I also tried connecting a MIO midi device into the 5 pin DINs but HX edit didn't see it. Thanks for any suggestions as HX Edit is important to me. Stomp XL is setup in 4CB with Marshall DSL40CR.

Sounds great. Stomp xl to infinity

From what I'm reading you can control the pan of Split Blocks and merge blocks using controllers whether it be a snapshot controller or a foot switch controller. Is that what you're doing and have you assigned a controller to the parameters you want to control 1st?
-
Could the pre stomp setup have achieved the same result with a DI?
-
I guess it does offer that as an additional feature with no downside
-
Why does this ignore feature exist? If you didn't want a bypass or parameter in the snapshot wouldn't you just take it out of the snapshot?
-
Can we get your text file?

Can you say you are a nice guy if you are insulting someone? Never look down on someone unless you are helping them up. Peace.

This Marshall was an amazing starting point for me https://line6.com/customtone/tone/5551119/

I'm finding the forum shows me signed in at the top level but only sometimes at the Helix forum. Very weird. I have cleared all my cache, history and passwords in Chrome but it persists. Any ideas what is going on please?

Having read manuals my entire life, sometimes they can be a bit overwhelming even to a veteran like me. Sometimes you just want to ask a friendly face a question instead of spending spending half a day looking for the answer. If you don't want to help the person then just drive by but there's no need to insult them in my opinion

That seems to be the "normal" way but I only want 1 pedal so if Helix can't accommodate a single pedal scenario I'll have to just dial in the max volume to the patch so I play with volume all the way up on that patch so WAH won't jump. I was surprised the wah bypass Position, wait, behavior parameters didnt' allow me to turn the wah on and off with a single pedal. It seems clear to me know that it is coded for 2 pedals. I'll stick with one pedal and just adapt if no one else finds a trick. Thanks !

Thanks for the reply but if I leave the Volume block active then when I operate the WAH, the volume will be going up and down which is no bueno. I only have one Dunlop DVP5 on EXP1

I called Line 6 to ask for help on this but no one is available today (4pm EST). I then tried to text and get an agent and got the same message that no one is available. Can anyone here help please ?

Maybe this model list will be helpful. https://www.fluidsolo.com/patchexchange/view-models/Amplifiers,a

But when you bypass the volume the volume jumps up from the level where the pedal left it
-
Thank you for the reply but I'm still confused. Is there a way to do what I'm trying to do? Currently I have my volume Expression peddle set to global because I just want the volume to not jump around as I go from preset to preset. I don't understand though how I can maintain the current volume position and switch to the wah block without having volume continue to move around as the pedal moves. Thanks for helping this noobie.
