If you want it fixed, you should report it through customer support. The community forum is meant for users to help each other :)

Totally agree. I understand the Helix amp simulation is a really strong point, but I only use the device as a multieffects unit, so I'm not interested in more amps. I submit ideas for weird effects from time to time. Polyphonic stuff (tuner, synths, pitch), however, is what I'm more lookinig forward to see on a future update.

Oops! I think I lack the knowledge to understand the problem, sorry ^_^U I don't mean to bother you, but I'd need a deeper explanation of the problem, although other users will most likely be able to help you with the info you already posted. Another option is to send line6 a bug report. Sorry for not being very helpful :(
-
You should post them on ideascale. They won't be considered if you only post them here :(
-
So uncool. Still, even though your warranty expired, you should be able to ask Line6 to fix it, although you'd have to pay.
-
Could you post a pic of that? Not sure what this problem means :(
-
I'm rolling back to 2.82 as well. I was only using the new phaser, but I can use another one instead while they fix this. EDIT: just rolled back, and tap tempo light matches the rhythm in delays and modulation effects. Can wait for next update :)
-
I saw another tap tempo bug: if you set your tremolo rate with the tap tempo, it won't match either what you pressed or the led light. I'm submitting a support ticket.

Sorry,I didn't mean that icon at the top right corner. I meant the 8 rectangles shown in Snapshot mode. In Stomp mode, the stomps LEDs colors match those 8 rectangles. In Snapshot mode, you can set the color of the LED but the rectangles will stay white.
-
With 2.90 we can set the LED color in Snapshot mode. Is there any way to set the LED colour to the Snapshot icon on screen? I don't know if this is a "bug" (a really unimportant one indeed) or if I'm missing something. To me, the utility of LED colours is to quickly identify the colours you've set in both the screen and the stomps.

Thanks, Line 6 developers. Working on this update must have been difficult, so double thanks :)

Hey! Leave Bitterman alone. You don't seem to understand how hard life is when you have a 1500€ device that you don't really like. Even sharing your bitterness with everyone on an internet forum doesn't help you feel a bit better. A little bit of empathy, please.
-
Now that was useful, thanks. I did the same and I get 102-105 (previously, it sounded right but I didn't know where to look at the real bpm). Not that off but certainly not right. Ok, count me in! XD
-
Lol, you tell me. You were the one asking me to record a video xD
-
Ok man, whatever. You don't seem that interested in being helped, so I won't actually bother from now. I tried!
-
Glad to hear that! ^_^
-
Well, I already replied to that. Up to you! ;)
-
I could, but, and I mean no offense, it would be pointless ^_^U I mean, I'm not trolling you with false info (it would make no sense at all), and what happens is: -I press tap tempo a few times -Play a bit -The delay works as expected And anyway, this video would not fix your unit. As it's been said, this is not happening to everyone. It's not that we can't identify when a delay is working or not xD However, if you want me to try what you're experiencing, I'd gladly see a video of yours and then try to reproduce it here if it's any different from what I'm doing :)
-
It definitely is. As I said, it works exactly as before 2.90.
-
As it seems to be a minority problem, it would make more sense that those who say it's undoubtedly broken upload that video, so those who don't have that bug (apparently) can say "oh, yeah, if I do that I'm having the same problem" or "nope, it doesn't happen to me". Honestly, I don't know what to check. As I said, it works exactly the same as before.
-
That certainly looks like a question that you'll only get answered by asking Line 6 support. I don't really care. I'm happy with the product and support so far. Releasing an update during this crisis is amazing, and I can bear with normal bugs, moreso if they're handled the very day they're reported. Maybe the Helix is not for you and you might be happier with another multieffects unit :)
-
As a developer, it's easy to explain: they received bug reports, checked what settings the problematic units had, and found a testing case that reproduced the problem, that wasn't taken into consideration in their QA department so far. It happens more usually than you might think, and everywhere, especially in complex software with so many possible combinations of either modules or settings.
-
Does your Helix boot? Anyway, I'd try doing a factory reset and then try to connect again.
-
They might have tested it, and had no problems like other users (I mean, I think my tap tempo works as always, but I haven't seen a video showing the problem, so I might have the issue but I haven't noticed).
-
Wow, it looks really bad. If I were you, I'd contact Line 6 as soon as possible.
