Recently I opened an older Logic project I created back when Monterey Macos was installed on my Mac. I upgraded to Ventura since then. I used a couple of POD Farm effects in the project. To my surprise, even though POD Farm plugin loaded fine, with no errors, there was no processing audible, the signal was passing through it unprocessed. The plugin input level indicator showed no signal. I checked Garageband - the same issue as with Logic. I am running the latest drivers 1.0.0 and my Pod Studio UX2 is properly auhtorized using Licence Manager. Any ideas what's going on? Line6 lists Ventura as compatible with POD Farm.

Thank you sir! TBH I have never thought about looking up his tones on customtone, or even that he would share the patches ;)

I have just watched Line 6 Helix Family Overview video and they used a preset there I am very interested to try, but cannot find it (my firmware version: 3.15). It is called "Synth W Princess" - see the screen shot attached. Any idea where I can get it from?

Power supply - Verifone 9V 4A I found a good, replacement, desktop type (wall/plug power supplies are EVIL ;) ) power supply, part number Verifone DSA-42D-09. I picked mine for 10$ equivalent. Very quiet. Spec: direct replacement 9V center negative 2.5mm tip 4A max Try also "zx spectrum power adapter" - apparently this Verfione was used as ZX Spectrum adapter replacement, too ;) I hope you'll find it useful. Cheers

Another one that works Rockboard Power Ace 1700mA https://www.rockboard.de/en/power-supply/rockboard-power-ace-set-9v-dc-17a-power-adapter-accessory-cables-rbo-power-ace-set Its plug seems to work for both 2.1 and 2.5mm devices therefore you do not even need a 2.1mm to 2.5mm adapter. Comments: it comes in two packages: just the adapter and with a set of cables. If you buy the set please note the included green adapter not only changes pin size from 2.1 to 2.5mm but also inverts POLARITY! You will need to use the included red cable to invert the polarity again, back to center negative. But as I said the original adapter seems to work ok with hx and pod go without any pin size adapters.

" It's nothing more than taking measurements on a circuit board and implementing mathematical algorithms that duplicate those behaviors" Oh come on. Far from being this simple. This (the modeling approach) is the main differentiating factor between manufacturers. Some model circuits, some model sound, some model human ear reception. You name it. Even if some random two will follow the same approach, say circuit modelling, how they model it will make a huge difference. A tube is a non linear device. Do you think it's a simple task to come up with a digital model of something so unpredictable? There will be dozens of ways to do it. So yes, different "modern" units do sound different. But who am I to judge.....

Where Can I Get Driver 7.6.8?

You can be certain that current driver WON'T work with M1 Macs, seems to work with Intel Macs, though (I tested with my Intel iMac and Big Sur)

Line6 UX1 and macOS Big Sur
gitarzysta replied to Schneiderc97's topic in Computer Audio Setup and Troubleshooting
I have just upgraded my Intel iMac from Cata to Big Sur and my UX2 continues to work, so does Pod Farm 2.59. Monkey does not work. Licence Manager works but does not show any add-ons I bought. Gitarzysta -
BEWARE! Line 6 NOT Mac Friendly
gitarzysta replied to jhhorvath's topic in POD Farm / POD Studio / TonePort
I took the risk and upgraded to Big Sur. Pod Studio UX2 seems to be working OK. Pod Farm seems ok, too. Licence Manager - works but shows no purchased add ons - to be honest I have not checked it in Catalina OR previous MacOS versions for a long long time, so not sure if this is a Big Sur issue or if it had existed before. Of course I have an Intel Mac - don't try this with M1 -
BEWARE! Line 6 NOT Mac Friendly
gitarzysta replied to jhhorvath's topic in POD Farm / POD Studio / TonePort
Does anyone know if UX2 will work with Big Sur with current drivers, or not? I can ditch pod farm etc but I cannot live without the interface. So all I'm interested in are the ux2 drivers and if they work ok with Big Sur. I know the official download page does not list them as compatible. But has anyone tried?
