Depends, is it an 8-Bit Heart? When I first started digital recording, I always went with the highest rate and bit depth, but I was fairly clueless. After learning a bit more I went to 44.1kHz/16bit for noodling and 44.1kHz/24bit for final takes. Now I just stick with 44.1kHz/24bit.

Wireless line 6 microphone XD-V70

My guess would be the latency is from the wireless headphones. I would try regular headphones, if there is no latency, then you know it is the wireless headphones. -
More bluetooth sync issues! Any resolve on this yet?
Triryche replied to Besterfield's topic in AMPLIFi
Did you do a factory reset after updating the firmware? Also, after a factory reset forget the connection an re-pair. If you already did this I would open a support ticket. -
Did you install the drivers? It is separate from the firmware update.
-
Also make sure you have the latest FW on the AMPLIFi

Are connecting headphones directly to the RME? -
Sounds like it may be normal high-gain hum/hiss. Can you post a sound clip?

What would I gain with a POD Studio UX-2? Considering...
Triryche replied to jbow's topic in POD Farm / POD Studio / TonePort
Your welcome. FWIW, you can capture wet and dry simultaneously with your current Toneport, but you likely know that already. Also, POD Farm 1.12 replaces your current Gearbox and is a free upgrade. -

You would gain a new UX2 and a hardware enabled POD Farm 2 license, which includes the plug-in version.. This will allow you to capture wet and dry in your DAW simultaneously, and then you can add the plug-in to the dry track post processing. That being said, you may consider purchasing the Hardware Independent POD Farm 2 license, which will work with also most other USB Audio Interfaces, and there is a 30 day return policy. If you try this route, do NOT get the i-Lok version, it is plug-in only and cannot be returned. 2 separate AMPLIFi's cannot connect to the same BT stream, so you would not be able to use one for each channel, however, they are already stereo, they have a woofer, 2 mids, and 2 tweeters, the mids and tweeters are L and R channels for the BT stream. -
With some creative patch building, you might get a partial piano sound with only playing the fret board by striking with your fingers.

Not really. There are programs that can translate your guitar signal into MIDI which you could feed to other software are hardware. There are also special pick-ups that can be installed on guitars to output MIDI. If you are looking to write piano tracks for your music, it's likely easier to get a small MIDI keyboard and learn, even if it's just to program some piano parts. If you are good at playing guitar you might be surprised at how quickly you may be able to learn the basics. Or you could look into Toontrack EZKeys.

You need to do a factory reset. AMPLIFi 75/150/TT: Press and hold the Master Volume knob and Tone button as you power up the amp. AMPLIFi FX100: Press and hold the Master Volume knob and the TAP button as you power up the unit.

Your computer's soundcard and or DAW. For best results connect your speakers directly to your UX.

JTV FW 2.21 - What's New In It?

I checked a couple weeks ago and didn't see it either. Maybe it was released internally on that date for testing with the Firehawk. -

This is a black-faced POD Studio? Have you run the license manager? -

It adds a Djent stick model. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jxkUXY-9nJc#t=37 {Belated 4-01 foolishness} -
Yeah, if you are fairly new to building tones, it's probably a good idea to get the most out of the current models so you will better equipped to evaluate the new model packs, especially if you no not already have a good "amp vocabulary". silverhead makes a great point, don't know how many times I see users wonder why a patch they find from a youtube video doesn't sound the same. And don't let phil fool you, he used his fast talking salesmanship to con Line6 in giving him a badge.

Glad you got it sorted!!
