  1. IIRC, They have not implemented the 1/2 speed function in the Android version. It does not appear in the app ony Moto G either.
  2. Just for clarification, you have installed the USB driver before attemptong the Utility? Do you have access to an iOS7 or 8 device?
  3. POD X3's have a POD Farm 1 hardware enabled license, the PODxt's do not. But as Zap point's out, you should be able to use the PF2 trial.
  4. This happens to me sometimes with headphones too, when the chord touches the guitar body!!
  5. Sounds like you are not paired correctly or have not completed synching. Each time you pair to the AMPLIFi it needs to populate all 100 presets to your app.
  6. You can have 4 simultaneous authorizations, with 10 lifetime. As Brazzy points out, if you exceed the limit, just contact Line6.
  7. I'm pretty sure DI said you get 3.14159265358979323846264338327950288419716939937510582% more DSP, but you need a Nintendo Game Boy and you have to request an HD to Game Boy interface cable. [disclosure: this is a poor attempt at humor, the above statement is not true]
  8. Do you get the same fizziness with headphones? I'm wondering if you're clipping the Fender speakers. If you get a chance can you post a clip of the noise while switching patches? If I have time tonite I will try to going from 4A to 4B.
  9. Seems sorta like a Variax break out box. The function to tune correct an out of tune guitar seems self defeating and a waste of DSP. The I'll finally be a genius!! Your statement reminds me of the movie Idiocracy.
  10. Something just occurred to me regarding your Mixer View screenshot. Since the GX only has a guitar input, there may not be a dropdown option. I honestly do not know since I have a UX2. Hopefully someone else with a GX can confirm. Either way, hope the next one works properly.
  11. I think you're probably right concerning the voltages. And I would think the alt tunings are modeling algorithms also. The first time I heard the term profiler in this context was from Kemper. Wouldn't that be some voodoo if you could plug any guitar into Workbench HD and then save it to your JTV!!!?? I'm fairly new to the JTV and it still amazes me every time I dig into WB. What I like about video game emulation is that the hardware is emulated so well, all the glitches of the original game "works".
  12. In this context profiling to me would impliy some sort of IR data while modeling implies math. But modeling can indeed use IR data in its math. This topic reminds me of trying to explain to people the difference between an emulation or a clone of classic video games. However the differentiation there is black and white.
  13. Technically you don't. There are 100 presets. You can save an "empty" tone to any preset. Example, 25 A B C D are empty by default.
  14. Sounds like it. I think you pretty much eliminated everything else, especially since you tried 2 computers.
  15. You can have have a dual tone path, just click dual. Also make sure you have all your Windows updates, especially concerning C++.
  16. Yes, the KB37 works like other USB Audio interfaces. Are you plugging your speakers and/or headphones directly into the KB37? The Tone Direct Monitoring is in reference to being able to hear the processed tones in real time.
  17. Yes, but not for Slayer songs. Just kidding  In settings uncheck Auto Tone Loading
  18. I can't do a screenshot until later this evening, but I found this screenshot with a Google search. As for the Audio-MIDI control panel, you can send your unprocessed signal directly to your DAW without launching POD Farm. Also, for the PODxt and X3 interfaces, there were more options for how the interface interacts with your DAW.
  19. In your mixer view your are missing the drop-down menu's to select Instrument or Mic. Have you tried a different USB cable? Or re-installing POD Farm?
  20. Just for clarification, you headphones are connected to the GX and not the computer? Are you selecting Instrument in POD Farm?
  21. Fluid Piano: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t7Cq3pbcMkI Sorta has a harpsichord timbre to it.
