  1. I would submit a support ticket, I do not experience this issue with my Moto G (2nd gen) or iPad Air. You can safely use unbalanced cables with the FX100 outs. Tip should always be hot, so you are only shorting ring and sleeve (ground and shield).
  2. Triryche

    Latency

I haven't seen an exact spec, but it is virtually imperceptible.
  3. WOW!! Seven hours!! That's patience!! Glad you got it going. You can name patches easier using the AMPLIFi Remote app.
  4. 1) This is strange and the first I heard of. Does this happen on all song are just a few? 2) 1/4' to RCA cables will be fine.
  5. Not sure, I haven't tried one yet. But I do wonder if it is something that can be corrected in a future firmware update.
  6. It's likely a difference in time based effects synching to the next patch. Not a perfect solution, but you could roll off the volume either on your guitar or the FX100's Vol pedal right before switching.
  7. For computer speakers with one stereo jack it is sometime easier to use the Headphones output. But typically for powered monitors it is better to run the L/R analog outs. Check you USB and power settings in Windows 8. I've seen users report changing the settings fixed their issues. You could also make sure you set the UX as the default device in Windows after booting up.
  8. I have no specific info on replacing the jack. You could give Line6 a call or open a support ticket. Have you tried another stereo 1/8" to 1/4" adapter? If it is the jack, it's possible the jack itself it's self is and its a bad solder joint. Have you tried recording via USB? If so, can you get L and R to your DAW successfully?
  9. You could try to flash it via Bluetooth to rule out an issue with the Utility.
  10. It the Utility is not recognizing it, try updating the firmware with an iOS device.
  11. Does sound like it could be hardware related. Just to cover all bases, if you run the newest Monkey you have green ticks for eventing? If you have a red-fave Toneport you likely need POD Farm 1.12, if it is a black-faced POD Studio, use POD Farm 2.5. Also, if you can try another computer and have the same issue, that would strongly suggest it is the unit at fault.
  12. Do you get the same results with headphones? Is it the same for pc sounds (Youtube, mp3, ect...) or just the POD Farm sounds?
  13. How are you connecting your speakers? Is it the same for pc sounds (Youtube, mp3, ect...) or just the POD Farm sounds?
  14. I ended up ditching Sony Acid years ago because of too much weirdness, the forums were like a ghost town at the time, and tech support required $$.
  15. It's been a while since I tweaked my PF plug-ins, is there an option to save within the plug-in? I'll take a look later tonite.
  16. The ToneDirect on this screen is just part of the graphics, it was no function. The only way to use the standalone version with another interface is if you purchased a POD Farm 2.5 Hardware Independent license (not i-Lok). What type of POD Farm license do you have, typically the PODxt's did not come with PF. The POD X3's come with a hardware enabled POD Farm 1 license, but is plug-in only.
  17. Run the newest version of Monkey which you can download form the website. This will get all your updates. Also make sure you are connecting your monitoring solution (headphones and/or powered speakers) directly to the UX2.
  18. It might have older firmware. Do you have an iOS device to check the firmware, or try the Utility on another computer.
  19. Top left of what? Also, by Amp Farm I'm guessing you mean POD Farm? Or do you also have Amp Farm?
  20. This could be many different things. Try plugging just a USB cable in the back or the USB with a device other than the GX, if it still happens, then it's not the GX. If it doesn't happen the 1st time try a few more times. One workaround would be to Sleep you PC, plug in the devices, then Wake it.
  21. I misunderstood. You can not use both sound devices simultaneous in the fashion. When using the UX all you computer sounds will be routed to the UX, it becomes your soundcard . You can switch to your PC's soundcard to use your PC speakers when not using the UX.
  22. Yeah, it's only partial fixed IMHO.
