You need to connect your monitoring solution directly to the FX100's main outs or headphones. The FX100 becomes your sound card.

Getting started recording via usb with amplifi fx 100
Triryche replied to mikefirman's topic in AMPLIFi TT/FX100
Download the latest USB driver for the FX100. You should then be able to see the FX100 in your DAW as an ASIO device (pc). -
Yes. In the AMPLIFi Remote App: Go to Settings. Under Options uncheck Auto Tone Loading
-
Did you do a pedal calibration after the factory reset?
-
As loud as you can get is a contributor. You could try increasing the distance between the guitar and amp, and make sure the guitar is facing away from the amp.
-
Depending on the stomp there are different settings. Concerning gain and drive, you can think of drive as adding the break-up or distortion and the gain as a level control for the stomp. The gain on the stomp will also affect have the amp behaves.

That's odd. (store.line6 is US only) When I try shop.line6.com it gives me the option to select Australia as the country.

Try this link http://shop.line6.com/

No, not directly to a cabinet, it would need to go to an amp, then cab, or a powered speaker.

2 questions about the UX2
Triryche replied to talbehar's topic in Computer Audio Setup and Troubleshooting
With the UX2 you can use 1 instrument and 1 mic input simultaneously or both Line Inputs simultaneously. You cannot use a Line Input with Instrument or Mic simultaneously. -
Also... If you are using POD Farm, make sure to select mic. If you are not using POD Farm, you need to select mic in the Line6 Audio-MIDI control panel.

Glad you got it sorted!! A to D steady is what I see in update mode. It's typically a good idea to do a factory reset and pedal calibration after a flash. Now that you are Android capable, you can flash via BT, but it takes ~ 40min.

Do you already have an HD500? -
Even another Win 7 laptop is worth a try. Your English is fine, is Italian your native tongue?
-
The most recent driver allows the the FX100 to be an ASIO Audio Interface and is the one you should use. This is why it moves it to the Audio Devices, I have no idea if it affects the update process, but I would speculate it does not. Know anybody with a Win8 laptop? I know it's not a solution to the Utility issue, but at least you could get on with you your Android.
-
Just for clarification, have you tried running the driver installer file? Oops, didn't see your latest reply when I posted. If you go to device manager, where is the AMPLIFi?
-
Thus my "quick read" disclosure. I will definitely look into these authors as I am fairly "author/literature illiterate" !!

This is my first encounter with him. Wish I had moor time to read!! And/or be able to read faster.

The Eternal Champion by Michael Moorcock Recently happened upon the fact that the song Veteran of the Psychic Wars by Blue Öyster Cult is somewhat based on the it. At 13 years old this song intrigued me to no end(s), kinda cool to find out what I thought the lyrics were about is pretty close to the concept. Has anybody read This Is Your Brain on Music: The Science of a Human Obsession by Levitin, Daniel J.? It's a quick read and pretty interesting, especially if you're a science junky.

So frustrated uses can ask good questions?? :D I haven't used the Utility in a while, but I do not recall a flash from file option. If I were to speculate, maybe it was a reflexive motion, the Line6 6 Monkey (for other devices) has an option to flash from file. Or maybe they'll add that function in the future.

I have no certain answer. My guess is the lack of other code from the Update Utility.
-
If it was an issue on most Win 7 64 bit machines, I would expect the the boards to light up with this issue. Either way, frustrating for sure.
-
Just for clarification, you succeeded in updating the firmware? The Update Utility can flash fw and show other fw's available from the servers, so it would seem all the updater does is flash, but I don't know for certain. I would gather the majority of the units in distribution left the factory pre Android compatibility. Concerning the Update Utility, it seems to work on many Win 7 64 bit machines. I would guess not many users have submitted a support ticket which would provide Line6 with information that may result in a fix. If it were me, I would submit a ticket. I know you said you read the update procedure but you didn’t mention putting the unit into Update Mode (I’m guessing you did). Btw, what did you have for stress eats??
