I set up the VK II 20 with the HD500 and a Beat Buddy with the 3 Cable Method. I just got done making the patch for it and uploaded it to CustomTone. Sounds great now after I tweaked everything, lol. I also have been playing with the DT50 with the Beat Buddy going into the Power Amp section and guitar into the Preamp section, nice quick setup and sounds great. This patch will work with the DT but it will need tweaking though.

You should tell Line 6 this through a phone call or support ticket.

Did I just hear that right? I just saw that question arise on TV. What do you think, is Apple wasting it's time with the MAC since it only accounts for a small percent of it's revenue? Hey, I like the Beyer's alot but I'm sure you do not need 600 Ohm models, you can use 250 Ohm with better results. The thing with the 600 Ohm'ers is they cut the mids and it's noticeable. I like it though and I'm going to continue to use them, also may get a small headphone amp for them. What I use mostly are 32 Ohm Bose AE Headphones, I've had these since 2008, I think, they still work great and they are the other extremely opposite to the 600 Ohm. I think if I was going to get another pair I would use Beyer's in the 250 Ohm or the next lower ohm value. I like the open backed and I like the way these fell over my ears too. I bought the 600 Ohm without using them first and I knew the mids were going to be cut, so they were as I expected them to be. No surprises. Hope that helps some. Any questions? Just ask.

Your right about how he rigged it but I think he'll be able to replicate what he wants if not he'll just have to take that Giant stack with 'em. :)

I'm not gigging but I just got done a loooong Metal Jam with Schecter Omen 8 into a Valve King II 20 MH with 4 CM/HD500 and used 16 Ohm Eminence Speaker in a Jet City JCA12S+ Closed Cab. Maaaaaan, It was totally inspiring me to play and I just couldn't stop, lol. An hour and a half later I'm finally getting a cup of coffee. Next up Going to hook up stereo with the DT50.

Sounded exactly the same to me. Just goes to show how the HD500 alone into FOH can be all that's needed. Good One!

I hear Ya! LOL. I can't say that it's as good as the DT50HD I have here but then again it's a 50w and has other features that add up too. Even still I use the DT50 in 25 w mode quite a bit and still sounds really good. What counts is that I'm happy, lol. If was trying to please everyone I wouldn't have any fun, Hahahaaaa.

Oh ok. I agree with that Ibanez make a quality guitar I have 3 here. An RG 7, an AS73, and an Exotic Wood Acoustic. I like them all very much.

I'm not a huge Glee fan but your right they sing great and just 'cause I'm not a huge fan doesn't mean I don't like them, lol. The lucky dogs have 2 DT50HD/4x12 rigs, lol. If ya haven't take your girl to see both "Pitch Perfect" movies, lol. She'll love ya even more for it.

You live and learn. I think most of my guitars have medium frets and that's what I learned with but I have one that has nice fat silver looking stainless steel frets and man is it buttery smooth, lol. There's a huge difference when it come to frets but with practice the mediums work just fine. It suck though.....when a deal is made and later you realize what happened. Maybe you can appeal to them. You might get your guitar and money back. Go for it and appeal the deal. What's the worse that can happen.....they say No???

I hear Ya! I wanted the the small version, it's easier for me to store, move around and such. I already have a DT50 and that's getting to be a beast to move around, lol. I love the amps though. I was seriously looking at the VK100 and considered the tube replacement cost's and size/weight which swayed me towards the mini 20. This little sucker is LOUD, lol. I know your enjoying that ValveKing 100!
