"Tone may or may not be in the fingers, however it's surely in the heart "butt" one thing I do know, it's not in a fart." "I like my HD500 and all the other Line 6 stuff I've got, am I gonna get rid of it? Definitely not." "I wish I could get a Helix, though I'm short on dough." "Am I happy? Am I not? I'll stick with what I've got."

Podfarm, UX2, and Windows 10

I don't think that was a service update it was a cumulative update. Cumulative Update for Windows 10 for x64-based Systems (KB3081424) -
If you can, watch this video Pete made about how he creates his patches and uses EQ. http://line6.com/support/topic/12670-part-2-of-my-pod-hd500x-demonstration-video-now-uploaded/ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iJ9v7SCCt_c&feature=youtu.be

So much good info on this forum. Pianoguyy's got some good info there. Thanks to CipherHost explaining where it is, you might actually find it, lol. Here's the link to that post that Arislaf created about EQ'ing. Might be helpful. http://line6.com/support/topic/14480-some-guitar-eq-tips/

I've had a similar issue with my KB37 Studio. I remember if I shutdown my PC with the KB37 usb "plugged in" and then started the PC the keys didn't work. So I unplugged it, waited a second and then plugged it back in and it worked fine. What I do now is before I shutdown my PC I unplug the KB37, shut it down, and the next time I start the PC I wait till it's started before I plug in the KB37. For some reason I have to do it like that, maybe 'cause I have "fast start" selected in my OS's settings, lol. Hope that makes some sense. Also you may be having a different issue.

Here's a link to a page that Arislaf shared not long ago. It helped me a lot to understand EQ'ing better. http://www.audio-issues.com/music-mixing/guitar-frequency-fixes/ I took notes from that page a while ago. These aren't my words, I just used them to help me understand what to focus on when I'm trying out settings.

I don't know much about mac but have you checked that logic 9's preferences are aimed at the KB37? It may not do it automatically.

Took me a little while to grasp the concept too but spending some time with it and understanding how the "Q" works to narrow or widen the particular range it's set at gave me a good idea of how to use it on the fly. Check it out it's at the end of the settings in your pod. As Pianoguyy stated you may not use it that much so if you change the settings make sure you take note of the default settings.

Don't forget to check Monkey for updates again. PodFarm 2.57 was updaed to 2.59.

Is the Line 6 ASIO device (UX) set to run at 16 bit too? Was just curious 'cause I made sure all 3 things are running at 16 bit. In the ASIO device (UX) the playback settings and the recording settings. Not sure if it would help but throwing it out there. -

I for one hope they continue to update popular drivers for Win 10. So far I'm still able to use my usual DAW's without much issue but I did need to reset the sample rate for playback to my KB37 Studio to 16bit 48000Hz in order to get my browsers to playback through the KB37. -
I just used KB37 Studio and GearBox with RiffWorks today. I did the free Win 10 Upgrade, although I did it on a relatively new computer and the manufacturer is supporting it. Also have you tried to change your sound cards sample rate to dvd quality 16 bit 48000Hz. I had to do this in order to get my browsers to playback YouTube video and SoundCoud stuff through my KB37 Studio.
-
Yep, if you use the program enough you'll eventually compensate and know where you wan't which effect and just put them in the correct order the first time.
-
Have you checked the sample rate of your playback and recording settings? Try setting them to 2 channel 16 bit 48000Hz dvd quality in the advanced tab. This a fixed a playback issue many people seemed to have. I had an issue with PodFarm 2.57 not starting but fixed it but reinstalling it. See also > PodFarm, UX2 and Windows 10

I suppose were all going to experience a little weirdness with the upgrade to Win 10. Howz it going Punkboy! Time to thrash my guitar.

Good question about storing the tones from your XT onto your SJ but I don't think it's possible although you may be able to replicate them on your SJ to a certain extent. Like Tatumox said you can run the XT into your amp using the cleanest unaffected routing such as the mp3 input or a semi effected input such as the AUX input. I do this using the mp3 input with my HD500, KB37, or X3 Pro and it sounds pretty darn good. Drum tracks can be copied to the SD card in mono 16 bit 44000hz sample rate and played back. I'm pretty sure I have the correct format there but you can always check the knowledge base under Spider Jam which has all the good info. http://line6.com/support/page/kb/_/amplifiers/spider-jam/spider-jam-faq-and-preset-information-r471

I'm upgrading to Win 10, the free one.
