    Isnt the HD500x limited to maximum 48khz out? What is set on your HD? (the khz on the spdif is set in one of the 10 setup pages) If your Roland interface is set to it, it will receive the "clock" from the HD500x and therefore sets it to 44.1

    same problem here.... <_< I also tend to use Pod Farm 2.5 insted of the X3 device (or XT for that matter) The X3 device is now reduced to "something taking one USB slot, potentially making the DPC in my DAW unreliable and making the DAW confused about what audio interface to use" Sadly, my X3 is having death spasms, so the next time there is a offer for the Eleven software/hardware I'll probably get that....

    Thanks, it looks quite good actually :) I see the specs of the guitar is mahogany, is it "solid" mahogany? I want it to be this finish, (when stripped) but have no idea if it is possible. This is a Warmoth body which is mahogany. And hopefully I can get it to be more of this finish: http://www.ibanezrules.com/catalogs/us/1997/97032.jpg (yes I know, it is an old picture... But you'll get the idea)

    I have the JTV-89 in black, and absolutely love the sound and tuning options of the JTV. I'm not a fan of the looks of the JTV-89 though... So, I was thinking to refinish the guitar. First though was to remove the black colour, and maybe just use some kind of bee-wax. Anyone know how the finish is underneath the black? I have a korean model....

    After only using the T-model the last days, my wish is for the next update: do not touch the T-model! :lol: I think it sounds exceptional! :wub: I'd like a mandolin model as suggested also.

    Thanks, will use that one then :) So it is the new Workbench HD which doesnt work with HD500 (yet)?

    BTW, mt JTV89 had FW 1.72 (I think, it was certainly not 1.8 or 1.9)

    Had a cable plugged in the standard jack output, and volume at full. Tried also with the magnetic pickups turned on (not Variax), dont think it was that the first time. No, same sound of every program. Can I use my HD500 to Upgrade? I though that wasn't a option? I also have a POD X3 and a POD XT, both Beans. Could I use one of those also?

    I installed the Variax 2.0 FW after the instructions from this post Though, after installing it I got a midi communication error both times (I installed two times as the document said) But after both upgrades it said it had FW 2.0. Now, the problem is: the Variax USB interface does not work anymore. Red light at the VDI connection side. And green at the USB side. What to do....? When I try to connect it to Monkey, it says unknown FW and when trying to install new FW, it says "could not establish connection....."

    Yes, I'll correct myself :) Single coil neck pickup would be the best for the sound, both for "Get lucky" and "le Freak". Including a lot of compression of course :)

    Have done that since last week. I'm starting to feel dizzy, but hopefully my wife will find me in a couple of days and bring me food and beer. :D

    No need to say, you'll have to have a Strat in the 2nd position (neck and middle pickup) I'd start with one of these sounds and maybe a bit of tweaking: http://line6.com/customtone/tone/210923/ http://line6.com/customtone/tone/218462/ http://line6.com/customtone/tone/218578/ Bear in mind, try to disable some of the effects (for instance, the last one "wah wah watson" is killer without the wah wah effect :)
