Hi everyone, I’m part of a duo (guitar and drums), and I use my Helix to play both guitar and bass parts simultaneously. Here’s my current setup: 1. I connect my guitar to the Guitar In on the Helix. 2. One output goes to my Marshall JCM 800 amp for the guitar signal. 3. Another output processes the low frequencies and sends them to an Orange Dual Terror amp. This setup works great and allows us to create a full sound. However, I’d like to add a new feature to expand our creative possibilities: using the Looper. The issue I’m facing is: • The Looper only works on one signal path (either guitar or bass). • When I start a loop with the Looper, I lose the live bass or guitar signal, which limits our options. My goal is to find a solution or a routing setup that allows me to record a loop with both the guitar and bass parts at the same time, while still being able to play live over the loop with a riff or melody. Do you have any advice on how to configure this, ideas to optimize my setup, or examples of routing that would work for this configuration? I’m open to any suggestions, even if additional gear is required. Thank you in advance for your help!

Hello, My receiver recognizes transmitted channels in an unpredictable way. At first I thought it was down to the transmitter, so bought a new one - however, I have discovered that the problem is identical for both the old and the new transmitter. Channels 1, 2 , 11 and 12 set on the transmitter do not connect with those channels on the receiver. However, channels 3,4,5 and 6 on the transmitters, do connect to those receiver channels respectively - 3 to 1, 4 to 2, 5 to 11 and 6 to 2. Channels 13 and 14 on the transmitters do not work at all. All other numbers 7 to 10 work correctly with their respective transmitter and receiver settings. Table below may help. Can this be fixed, or do I need a new receiver? Many thanks Bill. Hey friends! I've restarted that epic quest for the right tone. Previously I had loved the AC30, particularly for its wonderful overdrive (I'd use a boost/compressor for juice, no overdrive pedal needed), but its clean tone was not warm enough. So I experimented and fell in love with the BF-Double VIB(Fender twin reverb). Rich, warm tone yet with clarity, especially through the DT-25 amp! However, its overdrive is farty and bloated (name that quote). I started experimenting with overdrive pedals but nothing compares to the AC30's natural drive tone. Anyone have any suggestions? Alternative amp models with a warm, full clean and a warm but tight, crunchy overdrive? Distortion pedals that actually sound good (not fuzzy or farty)? Extra notes: For an overdrive, I hate it when notes seem to fight each other and it gets all buzz-sawey or farty / indistinct. Hey, everyone. I've had an HD500 for about a year and a half and recently the tap/tuner button started misfiring. What I mean is that sometimes when I press it once, it registers as two times, making the tempo insanely fast. Also sometimes when I hold it down and it goes to tuner, it will register contact, when I release it, so then it exits tuner mode. Is there anything I can try to do before sending it in for repair? Any ideas would be appreciated.
