DonB2018
Does anyone know if it is possible to bend the pitch of individual strings up or down on the Variax by use of the Helix expression pedal or using a momentary switch? Similar to another product by another company. Bending the string controlled with expression pedal as if using a finger to bend the string. soundog
I wish it would. But it won't.

phil_m
You can control the string pitch parameter(s) with an expression pedal, but as mentioned above they don’t bend. The pitches are fixed steps. This is just a limitation of how the Variax handles the pitch shifting.

brue58ski
Well you can't do what you describe but you can control parameters with the tone and volume knob. I use this to simulate Tom Scholz's Space Echo.
