chasingMango
I haven't heard anyone talking or speculating about the looper. I don't think it was mentioned in the presentation, therefore I assume its a lower development priority. However, with all of the other specs, specifically Showcase, I'm seeing potential for a mindblowing/fun looper.
rd2rk
This is a user-to-user support forum. Nobody from Line6 hangs out here. Anything you read here would just be guesses/wishful thinking. If you want to hear/ask actual Line6 people, go over to The Gear Page Digital and Modeling Forum. There you would read Eric Klein's (aka Digital Igloo) statement that they are currently not allowed to discuss looper topics beyond being able to place looper flags on the Showcase timeline. That indicates that, yes, there will be a looper but, for now, that's all we get - sooner or later.
chasingMango
I'm aware, maybe not a productive post but thanks for the info about DI mentioning it on TGP. I found it there and its helpful insight!

theElevators
I'm sure there'll be a sophisticated looper with an ability to store/recall loops onto a flash drive.

If it has an SD drive, if it can play backing tracks, dial out guitar from .mp3 files (which it does), it has the capability of storing the loop. That's my only source...
PierM
Digital Igloo was used to be a nice straightforward guy back in the days. Unfortunately today he can talk for hours without say pretty much anything or. Just boring company foggy nonsense and marketing bubbles due NDA agreements. Im afraid you will know how stadium looper works, the day after it will be delivered to the first youtube guy. Maybe all of the gear companies are like this, but Line 6 really seems to care about what they are doing and not just making money, although of course they exist to make money too. Ultimately the competition is good for consumers, even if we don't get as much information before the product is even released. *My original question was just for the fun of speculation.

Being nice straightforward guys worked against them because competitors have stolen ideas and rushed them to market, and internet culture is such that some lollipops will comment on them in bad faith; ie, make all sorts of pronouncements based on zero facts. I was also hoping to find info about the looper. I suspect the fact that they're explicitly NOT saying anything means that there is some kind of upgrade coming for looper functionality. The good news is that I don't really need to know until the Stadium is released, at which point I can decide based on demos and trial rather than on what someone (even the developer) is writing on the Internet.
