  3. How, exactly, has Line 6 hurt you? I think the only thing the 2.23 firmware did was make it so the Shuriken model names show up correctly on the Helix.

  4. In order for parameter values to be recalled via snapshots, those parameters have to be assigned to controllers. If you only want to control it with snapshots and not a real-time controller like an expression pedal or footswitch, you can just assign them to a Snapshot Controller. On the unit itself, simply press and turn the knob under the parameter. Once you do that, you'll see brackets appear around the value. Now you can save unique values for that parameter per snapshot.

  7. My apologies for this ! I forwarded your message to my webmaster. Implementing the discount system has been a real nightmare, maybe I should just remove it and replace it by an "amp pack megapack" at a heavily discounted price. It would work much better...

  8. Hi again, No problem. Happy to help out. You need to set up your footswitches under the Global Settings menu. Best thing to do is have a look at pages 38 and 39 in the Helix Owner’s Manual, which saves me having to type all the info here. The thing you mention about simultaneously pressing FS1 and FS7, that combination cycles through BANK UP /DOWN, PRESET UP /DOWN , and SNAPSHOT UP /DOWN. If you have globally set up for 8 Snapshots when you press the UP /DOWN switches you should get your 8 snaps ready to use just like regular stomp boxes. Here’s a link to the pages you require: https://line6.com/data/6/0a06439c975d5787c3e351aa0/application/pdf/Helix 2.0 Owners Manual - Rev D - English .pdf#page38

  9. Thank you so much! I have another question. Sorry for bugging you. I set up 8 snapshots on a particular patch but every time I wanna use them I have to press bank up/down simultaneously to then select a snapshot. Is there a way to have all snapshots like stomp boxes lined up?

  10. Updates for JTV or other Variax guitars' firmware is not currently possible with the helix. Until line6 make it possible, you'll need to use the USB interface or an HD 500 or 500x if you have it. That's how I do them. The work bench HD works fine for adjusting JTV models, but that was an update to the helix and the software that took a year or two to happen.

  11. Gee, a 'new' JTV firmware update! (released without fanfare -- not even a suppressed fart -- in April of this year) Did I miss a relevant discussion of this on the forum? Nope. Would be nice if there were some type of presence on this forum to announce the availability of new versions. Or maybe send an email -- they're great about sending emails trying to get us to by the newest gewgaw... So I went to the downloads page to check, and learned that the previous version, 2.22, released in 2017 affords us the following spectacular updated experience: Sorry I missed that one! But this new one promises... well, it promises.... EXACTLY NOTHING. Here's a direct quote from the support page: Wow -- be still, my beating heart!!! This is gotta be the GREATEST FIRMWARE UPDATE EVER! After all, it's 456 KB!!!! Just like all the others... Pathetic support, Line 6. You're making it hard to believe in you anymore.
