  1. I setup my Helix boards with the Snapshot buttons I'll use along the bottom row so that when a solo is coming up I can just plant my heel in front of the button I need and press it without looking down at the board. I was concerned about the Stadium buttons being closer together, although now that I have the unit its not a real significant difference. Still if I accidentally press the BANK DOWN or the TAP TEMPO button that can screw up a performance. To reduce the chances of inadvertently pressing the outer buttons I made a couple of plastic "guardrails" to create a separation wall between them. The plastic walls are adhered to the unit using double-side tape. They actually work better than expected. I positioned the walls closer to buttons 7 and 12, but its still easy to use these buttons , and besides they're only used in between songs so I can aim my foot more carefully when using them. I uploaded the 3D files to Printables.com in case anybody else is interested in printing a pair of these rails. https://www.printables.com/model/1507235-button-guardrails-for-helix-stadium-guitar-process

  2. The manual states: 1/4” Outputs: Use shielded, unbalanced (tip-sleeve) 1/4” cables to connect to one or two instrument amplifiers—or—shielded, balanced (tip-ring-sleeve) 1/4” cables to connect to studio monitors or powered PA/FRFR speakers; you may also use 1/4” TRS to XLR M cables. Does this mean the Helix stadium actually has shielded, balanced 1/4" outputs?

  3. Yeah I discovered recently as well that the line was only on unit itself. More confusing on the editor. I just remember for the moment that Clarity is the first non-agoura model.

  4. You can also lock the volume knob so it can't be accidently moved during live shows.

  5. I opened a ticket on this as well. If I'm live on a gig, and make a quick tweak, I want to stay exactly where I am in my current set list, not be taken to the preset in the User Presets list and then have to go find my way back to where we are in the set list.

  6. I bought a really inexpensive portable Wireless router for this type of problem . . . .getting wifi without having to rely on the location's wifi.

  7. To rename a preset using the Helix Stadium device (not the editor program): 1) Select the USER Presets list (not a custom setlist). 2) Select the preset. 3) Touch the preset name at the top of the display. 4) Touch the Rename Preset option in the options list that appears at the right of the display. 5) Use the pop-up keyboard to rename the preset. 6) Touch the DONE button. To rename a preset using the Helix Stadium editor program: 1) Select the USER Presets list (not a custom setlist). 2) Select the preset. 3) Click on the preset name at the top of the display. 5) Use your computer keyboard to rename the preset. 6) Hit the ENTER key. If this does not work, open a support ticket.

  8. My levels are about the same. I wouldn’t worry about it unless you hear something you think isn’t right. I pay more attention to the signal level indicator in the Output block; if that turns red it means there’s clipping. Also, you can test the output level meter (the one on the right thwt you refer to) in the Amp block. If it behaves like a normal level meter it might change colour to orange and then red as you raise the amp’s Drive/Gain, Master, and/or Channel levels. I don’t know if it actually does change, but if you can make it change colour then you can be confident everything’s OK as long as it stays green.

  9. You can click/drag presets (multiple at a time if you wish) in the USER setlist view using the Helix Stadium editor.

  10. I have the same issue and it’s extremely frustrating. I cannot run HX one librarian, Line 6, Central and when I run the Line 6 updater it is just a blank page with nothing shown. I am signed in and I have tried everything that Line 6 has offered and others have offered With no luck. I’m running Windows 11 and I have been over the owners manual more times than I can count. Is there a mode that you have to put the pedal in? If so, I cannot find that out. I have also watched a few of the YouTube videos on updating but if you can’t load the app, the videos are useless. I have tried different ways to remedy the problem and I have tried the same fixes over and over. One of the suggestions is to write click then go to properties then to compatibility and uncheck run this program as an administrator. The trouble is, it’s not checked in the first place. So I have tried to check it close it try the app but still the same horrible results. If only Line 6 would pay attention to this problem because I see others have the same issue. I have also tried to do the same in the root with no luck. Kind of makes me want to throw this thing out a window. Please help.

  11. Has anyone figured this out. I just installed Central and got the same error: can't run as admin. The Run as Admin box is not checked under properties. The real salt in the wound is on the installer intro screen saying "It must be run as admin". Get it together Line 6.
