    you know, the volume knob is very loose, you put to maximum and underneath the pot is moving, and the model knob can't reach easily the analog/digital button... on my variax after 5 years only the piezo died, replaced by graphtech and became better than new...

    Well, no, it's no possible without loosing the a.b,c,d.what you can do, is take a midi cable, connect it to the amp-computer, and save the a-b-c-d bsnks, or see their presetes and write them down before you make a factory reset.

    yes it is possible.it is even possible with the variax to have 2 kind of tunings (but not at the same time) at one model.

    u tried on another computer?if on other computer is working, then it is your computer problem, maybe your registry on windows still exist, if not working, then probably it's your pod

    Try the plexi on normal chanel, or the basssman on bright channel,or use a boost compressor.

    As usual, try to reinstall the latest firmware and see if that helps.Although I believe tis is a hardware problem, but give it a shot. Or open a ticket with line6.

    It's like fat women.When you look at her from distance is ugly, but when she is underneath is very good :) So when i play with the 69s and is in my hands, the way it looks is really nice.

    Agree! And on my 700 there was no lag when I change pickups. IMO, put some graphtech on your Variax, this will improve your sound and make the piezos last longer, and wait for the 3rd gen Variax

    I know it's a stupid question, but I am finding very hard to remove the tone-volume knobs from my guitar to replace them...I can not remove it...Every time i try I am observing that the pickguard is pulled also a bit, I am afraid that I will destroy something... What to do?

    I have a 69s and I would love a blood red 89F, for 3 reasons 1)The colour 2)The graphtech piezo 3)To replace the mags with dimarzio d activators Though that both would run the version 2, and that my favorite would still be my old Variax 700.

    1) Have your flextone connected before you start the monkey, and during the process. 2)It is working for me, I trust it will work for you.Remember to do it after the reinstalation of the firmware.

    Yes, you can, and you will not blow your UX2.Even better if you use a stereo outpod and from the pod to connect to the ux.But to use it you must run pod farm.
