arislaf replied to Rewolf48's topic in James Tyler Variax Guitars / Workbench HD
Obviously nothing, and as usual, will be nothing. -
Hd Version And Alt. Tunings (praising)
arislaf replied to arislaf's topic in James Tyler Variax Guitars / Workbench HD
I couldn't adjust the sustain at all through the workbench, the tones easily but that is no problem at all... -

Hd Version And Alt. Tunings (praising)

Correct, it's the jazz :) -
This is an unofficial rule, try to remember it always. Silverhead and the Realzap are the only experts that are not biased and always speak the truth..you can trust them

Although I hsve a HD 500, I see that with every update the sound changes, even without intention from line6, but always to the better.
-
Is your pod set to line?Is the switch to ground? Is your configuration used for studio and not for amp? Last but not least, have you reinstal the firmaware and reset your pod?

use quote to reply at someones post

I can say only one thing...I love line 6 but I HATE WITH ALL MY HEART AND SOUL the martketing department....
-
I hear it. It is on high frequencies, try to use a mid focus equalizer and lower the hight frequencies, also adjust the bias from the deep edit parameters.
-
Can you upload the sound you recorded?

Dude, this is not a line6 seller... He simply sell a line6 guitar - amp - whatever. But check the price...How can a JTV have the same price of a no name guitar? That is simply no possible... Hope it will work out for you, good luck.

Absolutely correct. The les paul had an awesome sustain, stratocaster also had longer than the 2.0 Version. I don't know what is the normal, though, but for sustain and some guitars is better the pre HD , I could say / choose the 1.71. for the acoustics. But since I have a variax of 1st gen, I keep my jtv on 2.0

1st of all, use only one editing way, either the pod unit, or the edit, not together. 2nd, the F= factory, and the U=user, this is for the version 1,71 of the jtv, that you can use either the factory set guitar that is on the model knob, or your edited guitar that you created. So, for your way of use, use the U guitars. 3rd and final, if you are using only the HD edit, select first the patch with the asterisk with your mouse, and then sent it from the top left corner to the pod. Hope it helped, Aris.

I was also expecting from all the hype that something really cool will come out, something like a DT and FRFR and the blend mix those 2, not an ''apple speaker'' - boombox. IMO, it is the most useless thing line 6 created, with the MOST hype in it.

Any Rumor Of New Firmware In 2014?
arislaf replied to nogcox's topic in James Tyler Variax Guitars / Workbench HD
Check variax 700 from 1st gen, play with fingers, pick, bottle neck, hard, light, moderate..It will be working awesomely...It was the other way around.. My point is, they read some praising from fanboys or happy users and then it comes to us like boomerang, decreasing the quality, playability etc. -
Any Rumor Of New Firmware In 2014?
arislaf replied to nogcox's topic in James Tyler Variax Guitars / Workbench HD
Yeah, but it is supposed to go the other way, the variax to be adjusted to everyone, not everyone to the variax. -
That's all?The reinvented amp? The super wow stuff? After, a lot of people accuse me and other members because we say hype....
-
+1 to Nico! Another thing you can do (but costly) is to replace the piezo with graphteck. Your sound will become louder, wider, brighter and more vivid. Keep that in mind for a future purchase.

Lousy Acoustic Sounds - How To Improve?
arislaf replied to janssengr's topic in James Tyler Variax Guitars / Workbench HD
Great honor from you to say that, yes, it is my original composition. And again yes, exact same signal path/processing/acoustic model, only difference pre and after HD acoustics. Lucky for me, I have a jtv and a variax 700, so I can use both acoustics at any time :)- 26 replies
