  1. 2 years about...Same theory with xt to x3, and HD.
  2. You can use the line 6 monkey, connect your amp from the midi to your pc and reflash it's firmware / update it.
  3. I don't have any, I have a flextone 3 XL...As far for the 147, it is trustworthy, it will not blow up, but the technology is outdated...Have the same sounds of the pod 2nd gen. (that my XL also has the same) that are good and well processed, and plenty of good amps. But not the tube feeling. From the other side the blackstar sounds really promising... I don't know, since I have a flextone, I would go for the Blackstar...
  4. For begin, let's limit the sources. When with the true pick ups you still hear it?
  5. You should put the max at 50% and dive up to 0% if you like the dive bomb sound...
  6. Nope, simply open your monkey with the variax connected and selected, then press roll back at the right side of the monkey.
  7. Yep, same concern apply for me also... Honestly, I love line 6 and I use their products about 9 years... But this will be a hit under the belt for me....(HDX fimrware update and HD nothing)
  8. It is normal for the version 2.0, you can do manually the correction...Otherwise yes, by reverting to 1.9 will solve the problem automatic.
  9. Through the pod???? I though to use the workbench HD it's possible only with the small Hub...
  10. This is not a bit of loose..This is one step before take off...........
  11. Welcome! Well there is for a single amp patch, or if you use after the mixer a monophonic effect. For the single amp patch you mute the (e.g.) B channel and put the A on center. Voila, became monophonic. Or some effects (i think comressors are mono) set up after the mix and the amps, will become mono.
  12. From my experience regarding clean tones on dirty amps, the JCM800 has some nice clean sounds, and soldano, witch are very bassy (great for jazz). The soldano on pod, have all 3 channels, clean-crunch-overdrive, while the mid gain amps (plexi, park, 45, have both channels also.) Regarding routeing, you can set path A a, ac30 and B a soldano, set mix on center, and decrease the volume of the solo from the mixer, while you increase the AC. This is not a pure mono signal, though. Regarding transition, you can do the above, put a panner on the pedal, and switch between amps with your foot easily and at the timing you need (fast, slow, up to you) On your last question, I can not help you since I use only the usb. BUT have in mind that dual paths are only for 500 from the pedalss.
  13. Well, as an ex user of the XT live, I can tell you that the pod is another kind of beast. And as for the price, for good or bad, line 6 has always less price than the quality it gives for any device.

Tried the hard reset by pressing and holding the left arrow when you plug in the power cable?
  16. But, you can adjust the volume of each amp separately, and save them one by one with your personal configurations. To do the saving, simply press the model knob for 4-5 seconds, until the led of the knob from fixed go to flashing and again to fixed. Repeat the process to each amp separately.
  17. Why you don't do it manually? go to the http://line6.com/software/ select from the left column the HD500, and from the middle column the drivers.
  18. I don't have another jtv than my 69s, but it definitely has less sustain than my 700 that is mahogany. I am pretty positive you are correct one this one.
  19. They do sound spacey, but only out of the mix,the best adjustment you can do is to adjust on the mix!
