Whammy effect doesn't do it for me. Not very good at tracking multiple strings. I use my Digitech drop in effects loop until line 6 comes up with a solution. But to try whammy, I set it to ...... Min value -1, max value -1.

Works great. I made a small board with my G50, TC tuner, and Drop (until Line 6 puts one in the Helix). I cant tell a difference between wired and wireless, though I am not avid user of vintage fuzz or wah pedals.

But isn't that per patch? I realize high gain stuff requires different gate levels, but a simple global one would be nice vs a pedal in front of helix.

Is there a global noise gate? You know, for that bar built in 1903 that was rewired on 1950.

I am hoping for a full editor as well. PITA to program Helix on the floor when finding that perfect tone. Some of us cant take over the kitchen table to have the helix at desk level. Just saying would be nice. To add further, an ipad app to backup/restore would be great for that gig ,not if, but when helix freezes.

1.01 on my windows 10 works! :) Pressing export seemed to not work, when I press import nothing is there. But drag and drop worked :)

Just got it too (BSOD). No reason, updated to latest, rehearsed and live gigged with it. No preset backup due to not compatible with windows 10. Time to start a support ticket. If no resolve or no windows 10, going back to Guitar Center before 45 day return policy.

But then will pedal move too easily? What type of "lube" will not effect parts inside, not lose the required friction of the pedal, and easy to apply?

Mine too. It seems like a metal on rubber squeak. Maybe something to do with the friction method used to create the adjustable resistance. Its a fairly loud squeak too.

YES!! I second that. I get the Amp or Effect set perfectly and bump the rotation and all settings lost. Also settings on an Amp/Effect should stay the same as they were so returning after an accidental bump, not change to default.

Not working with windows 10 here. Updater works fine but main software gets a narrow window on the left and then the "Helix has stopped working" message. Same on my windows 7 machine. Go figure.

Bug. I set up a quick patch using PV Panama preamp only, some reverb, delay, etc to get the Eddie-ish sound..Yada yada yada.... The problem -- I set up a momentary footswitch to activate Script Mod Phase. Hold and phase on...release phase off. When in "pedal board mode" and i call up the banks using "BANK" then select the patch, the "Script MOD Phase" defaults to on and momentary press turns it off then back on when released. When go to "Patch mode" using the Mode foot switch, selecting the patch defaults Phase to off, like I saved it in the patch. If fact, if defaulted on using BANK switch from Pedal Mode, just pressing the MODE foot switch defaults it back to off.
