When you're connected to your 150, open the My Tones screen in the app. You'll see in the top right corner where it says "Save To Hardware". Click that and select the bank you want to save your tone to.

Yeah, the "music player" in the Amplifi Remote is just using the native Music app. So if you have repeat set on the native Music app, it's mirrored in Amplifi Remote. That's also why, if you're playing songs using the Music app, the playback is stopped when you open the Amplifi app. I find it quite annoying, because the "music player" in Amplifi Remote is poorly implemented. It's full of bugs in the display (sometimes playlist titles show as a solid white bar among other problems) and sometimes when you click on a song to play it won't actually start the song. It just goes back to the last song that was played, without actually starting playback. I also find it annoying that I have to wait for the Remote app to search for tones before I can skip or restart a song. Even when I have the automatic tone loading turned off.

The app uses the music that is in the local library of whatever device you're using it on. So you need to sync the music to your phone/tablet in order to play the music via the app. You can, however, pair the amp with your computer's bluetooth and stream music from your computer to the amp that way. However, you won't be able to use the app at the same time since the amp can only be connected to one device at a time.

I don't think it has anything to do with multitasking or notifications. As I said, I've been using my 75 with absolutely no problems for months. It's only been in the last few days that I've been having problems. I constantly have several apps open at the same time and receive constant notifications. It's never caused a problem.

My 75 has been doing the same thing recently. Yesterday and today it's been doing it constantly, about 3-4 times per 20 minutes of playing. Leaving the app (going to the home screen) and then going back into the app forces it to reconnect, but then it just drops the connection again 5 minutes later. I'm also sitting less than 2 feet from the amp. My amp sits beside my desk, and my iPad sits on the corner of the desk closest to the amp. I've been using my 75 for several months now and never had any problems. Nothing new to my setup to cause interference and I've never had connection problems before now. I've tried reinstalling the app, forgetting the bluetooth connection and then re-pairing, etc, etc.... Nothing seems to make any difference. It's starting to get really annoying because I've been doing a lot of tone editing and keep having to exit the app and re-enter it in order to make adjustments.

I don't think there is a manual for the Amplifi Remote app. The only manual I've ever seen is for the amp.

What part are you having problems with? There is no pop-up on Mac when you connect USB devices. If you want to verify that it's connected, open up GarageBand or another audio recording app and select your FX100 as an input device. You can also see it by opening System Preferences --> Sound --> Input

Try a factory reset. If that doesn't work, then just take it back to the store you bought it from and get it exchanged for a new one. If you bought it from a reputable store they should have a 30-day return/exchange policy (at least all the stores in my area do).

Open your Bluetooth settings on your Mac --> Settings, then Bluetooth. If Bluetooth isn't on, then turn it on. You'll see a message that says "Now discoverable as..." With your Amplifi on, press and hold the Bluetooth button until it starts flashing. Wait until it shows up on your Mac (it will be listed on the right side of the Bluetooth settings window under "Devices") and click "Pair". After it's been paired you'll only have to click "connect" every time after. The Amplifi should also automatically connect with whatever device it was last connected with after being paired. So if you last paired it with a mobile device (iPhone/iPad) it will automatically connect with that. If the last device connected was your Mac, it should automatically connect with your Mac next time you turn it on. You can also check the "Show Bluetooth in menu bar" checkbox on your Mac to have the Bluetooth icon show up in the Apple menu bar. Then you can just click on that to pull up a drop-down menu to use to connect to your Amplifi (after it's been paired).

No problem :) I just wanted to add, if you want to be able to scroll through all 25 banks of presets and their respective A/B/C/D slots, you'll need the Shortboard MKII.
-
You need the FBV Shortboard MKII or Express. If you want to be able to turn effects on/off as well, you need the Shortboard MKII.
-
The bender effect doesn't work with the pedal of the MKI or MKII Shortboards. Although the description of the effect states it can be controlled by an FBV pedal, nobody seems to know which one.
-
Doesn't seem like anybody knows...
-
What are you using to run it? I assume it based in Adobe Air?
-
It's possible. I connect my Amplifi 75 to my Mac via bluetooth when I'm not using the iPad app to control the amp (I have the Shortboard MKII so I mostly use that for control, unless I'm creating tones). Did you press and hold the bluetooth button on the Amplifi to put it into discovery mode prior to trying to connect? Also, your tablet/phone will automatically remember and connect to bluetooth devices when they're detected, which will override your Mac trying to connect, so it helps to turn off bluetooth on those devices before trying to connect to your Mac.

I asked pretty much the same question 4 days ago. Nobody seems to know. Not even Triryche, who (according to his title) is a Line 6 Expert.

The very first Amplifi 75 that I purchased did the same thing. It wouldn't go into update mode, and wouldn't respond to the factory reset. I returned it to the store I bought it from and they ordered in a new one for me. My replacement amp did it again about a week ago (I've had it for several months now) but this time the problem seemed to be caused by having the USB still plugged into my computer. I had been recording the day before and forgot to unplug it when I was done. I turned the amp off, unplugged it, and turned the amp back on and everything was back to normal. I use the MKII Shortboard as well, so I don't think that's the cause of your issue. Unless perhaps you're using the wrong type of cable. The cable that comes with the Shortboard is extremely long, so I use a regular PC ethernet cable. There's a section in the manual that states which are the correct and incorrect types of cables to use (I don't have it handy at the moment). If you're worried about having it plugged into the amp when you turn it on, you can plug it in afterwards as well. It makes no difference.

I thought I remembered reading this somewhere before, but I can't seem to find it again and searching the forum didn't return any applicable results. It's not in the "pilots guide" for the amp either. Is there a way to set the default volume for the main volume and guitar volume when the amp starts up? What I'm looking for is for the guitar volume to be at 40% and the overall volume to be around 60% each time I turn the amp on. Right now the amp starts with the guitar volume at 75% and the overall volume at 20%, which is how it's been since I first bought it.

Hello, This is my first post, so I'd like to begin by saying that I've owned my Amplifi 75 for several months now and absolutely love it. At first I didn't think that the audio quality coming out of it was very good, but after pumping some music through it for a few hours to break in the speaker it sounds great now. I also bought the FBV Shortboard MKII to go with it, which has also been great. However, I have a question that relates to the Shortboard and the Bender effect. I was reading through the list of amps/cabs/effects (http://line6.com/support/page/kb/_/amplifi-products/ampl/amplififulllistofampsandeffects) and noticed that it says under the Bender effect: "Bender – This effect lets you control a change of pitch using an FBV pedal connected to a AMPLIFi. You can set one amount of pitch shift for the heel position of the pedal, and another amount of pitch shift for the two, then rock on the pedal to change pitch from one setting to another." The pedal on the Shortboard has no control over the Bender effect, which I've read in a few posts here, so what pedal is being referenced above? I'd like to be able to do a Lonely Boy type dive effect without having to buy a Boss Harmonist pedal, or a whammy pedal.
