Thanks Soundog. I'm working in another video covering aspects that I think could interest to non first time user.

Hi. For those who are interested in what is Helix Native and how to use it, here I have made this tutorial. Spanish, with English subs

Updated again, thanks guys :-) . In case of doubt, I've counted the number of votes that each proposal has had

Thanks, Trintanmatthew, I've updated the list.

You are not alone with that problem

Thanks Andy :)

Hi. I've just purchased a Relay G30. First impression it's great: large signal coverage, clean sound, and no latency. I have a question: has the G30 an auto power off feature when no in use? Must I switch the unit off manually always?

I think that each G10 search an available channel when power on, each one independent from the other. So several G10 can work together

I tried the eq block also with my headphones, and I think that the sound now is more "natural", not so plain. Great!!
-
thanks :)

I first played a patch through a mixer console, and adjusted the patch level to be correct. Then, I used that patch at home, connected to my daw, and I measured the level. That was the reference for the other presets to adjust.

Thanks for the advice

About AES/EBU and XLR
MusicGeek replied to MusicGeek's topic in StageScape Mixer / StageSource Speakers
Thanks, SiWatts69, great explanation So, if there is sound, then the cable works. If the cable has impedance problems, then it doesn't sound at all, doesn't it? -
Hi. Recently I've connected Helix into a L2T through Line 6 Link with a XLR cable. It seems that it worked, but I have a question: what is the problem using inadequate xlr cables, total lost of the connection or less sound quality? If there is a lost of the link, it's easily identifiable, but if the problem is degradation of the quality of the sound, then you may be think wrongly that it works well

Something similar has hapenned to me since last update. After press a switch that change several parameters in an amp (drive+volume), the drive change to max=10 and min=0 itself :-( I have not be able to recreate this behaviour to report it.

Same problem here. Playing gig at outdoor, lcd is not visible, and switch lights also difficult to see. Could I increase the bright of the switch lights?

Updated, thank you :)

Mine has crashed a couple of times, and both times I was editing a lot of things with the computer editor :-)

I understand your point of view, DI, and I appreciate your explanation. But what I think is that it is not an exclusive choice. I'm not thinking on replacing helix control with another third party controller (in fact, I have a no rack unit) One of the pillars of the helix concept is the control unit and its interface (great job!). What I am thinking is about expanding capabilities of Helix. People who have helix rack&control, or the floor unit, they may also want to be able to control the unit with a midi sequencer, or with their daw. It's just that :-)

Or a "rotative state" switch: state 1, 2, 3, 4, 1, 2, 4, 1,....

Hi, jaminjimlp. Do you know if FCB1010 works with Helix?
