  1. have you tried holding the left direction key while powering up?
  2. follow the links, open a support ticket, and they will answer you. when it comes to license issues, support are often the only ones who CAN help...
  3. No.... what gave you that impression? if you need support start here: http://line6.com/company/contact/
  4. no its in your windows control panel (or mac syspref)
  5. the l6t files are for older devices and will not work with the HD pods.
  6. generally no... but it can happen. you'll have a pretty good warranty thgrough sweetwater and line6 though.
  7. you won't have to downflash because of a spank bug.. if the 2.0 flash isn't good out of the box, i'd go the exchange route rather than messing with it.
  8. no one to my knowledge has ever bricked a JTV by using workbench with the interface.... only have those sorts of issues flashing. if you are already at 2.0 when you get it, you're in the safe zone.
  9. you have a redface model that does not come with a pod farm 2 license.... if you friend bought one he can gift it to you... otherwise you will need to use pod farm 1 (the redface does not include the plugin... only the standalone pod farm 1)
  10. check the input on the line6 audio midi control panel.
  11. what would we say? you're just ranting to the line6 user community. if you wish to rant proper to someone at line6: http://line6.com/company/contact/
  12. keep in mind... you'll still probably have to tweak them... and will probably want to since you'll be able to do a bit more with them anyway.
  13. if you want a response from Line6, call or setup a support ticket http://line6.com/company/contact/
  14. there is no difference in the processing capabilities between the 2. The latency will depend on your spdif card and your monitoring... the pod won't be a significant source of latency in that setup.
  15. I had less than stellar performance using parallels... even bootcamp was less than perfect, but better once i got the right drivers. what DAW, and what is it that you like so much that you can't give up?
  16. it seems you're correct... you still 100% need an FBV MKII pedal to use them.
  17. ASIO requires the same hardware for input and output. what you want to do is outside of that specification, and only a hack or some sort of workaround will accomplish... and it will do so by sacrificing accurate latency and possible introducing digital artifacts.... not worth it.
  18. cool, i never tried... don't think i had an EX-1 back then...
  19. I think he got confused? That feature is only on the pod HD's unless i'm mistaken... (been a while since i played an XT so i could be...)
  20. i get what you're saying... and i'm certain that you have a good reason, and that it pleases you tonally... just not certain that i see a common scenario that affects alot of users.... and unfortunately... things are more likely to get changed the more people that would be positively affected by that change. i suggest that you throw it up here: http://line6.ideascale.com/ (or dig around try to find the feature already requested) and see if you can't get a posse together! :) you'll increase your chances of actually getting this changed. (noone on the forums could do anything about it anyway... we are just telling you what we know)
  21. Just FYI if anyone cares... a crossover cable simply has the transmit and receive pairs swapped (orange and green) in the network context.... far more dangerous in the "use for anything other than network" context... as certain pairs will carry the power.... (as determined by engineering/manufacturer) so under no circumstances should a crossover cable be used in a non-networking context unless you know the pinouts (not public to my knowledge) and assume the risk.
