Make sure your headphones are stereo. It should be a 1/4" TRS jack (Tip-Ring-Sleeve). If your headphones are 1/8", make sure your adapter is stereo also (TRS).

Are you using POD Farm 1 or 2?

Try making a dual tone and for Tone A select Mic and for Tone B select Instrument.

Just for clarification, the newest version of Monkey cannot see it? In th emeantime, make sure you have all your Windows updates and all non-Line6 drivers for computer, mobo, chipsets, ect are current.

I have the FX100 and a POD HD. I currently do not gig. I like both tones for different reasons, but overall I do prefer the HD. The quality of the tones can be very subjective. The HD has more DSP and more deep editing parameters, but the FX100 has more amps.

I think as far as stomps and effects, I don't see it happening. It already has the bulk of stomps and effects form POD Farm. I hope I'm wrong, I would love to see the Dimension Mod form the HD line. There's some bass amps missing, maybe they'll add those in the future??

Just for clarification, while the OC and AMPLIFi are paired via blue tooth, you will not be able to edit tones via the AMPLIFi Remote app on an iOS7 device.

@ cm3550 Yes, you can do this, just keep in mind the main outs are line level. If I were you I would demo the FX100 to see if the differences in tones are ok for you and then weight the ease of editing vs differences in tones.

If you are editing on the iPhone and the sound is not changing, you may have a communication problem.

Cool!! The other thing I was going to suggest was to run just the AMPLIFi L(mono) main out to the Vox.

If you want to use the FX100's amp models, you will need to get the cleanest, most neutral sound on the Vox 1st. I do not have first hand experience with the Vox, so not sure if you can disable all modeling? I don't think the SV II has an FX loop, but you might get a good sound using the cd in.

What part doesn't work? You could give them a call.

Can you describe the sound, is it too quiet, muddy, clipping...? Since your Vox is a modeling amp, try disabling amp and cabs in the FX100. If you are putting the FX100 in the M13's loop, you will need to control your levels. Don't go too hot into the FX100 and make sure your aren't going too hot back into the M13. Is there a certain workflow you're after? The reason I ask is because the M13 is pretty powerful for effects. Are running out of effects in your M13 or wanting to use the FX100's amp modeling, or...?

Did you have a decent sound with the M13 and your Vox?

Yep. All you need to do is select no amp and no cab.

If you remove tones from your library as BigChas52 instructed, the tone file will still reside on your hard-drive. While in the tone view click the refresh icon to the left of the search field to restore the list.

If you are selecting a tone from My Tones, the FX100's display does not change, but the tone you selected becomes the tone the processes your guitar signal. If you are saying you are selecting a tone in My Tones and the sound doesn't change at all, it's either the same tone or you have a pairing problem/BT connection issue.

Yes, it will work without registering it. If it is 2nd hand, likely the previous owner did not unregistered it. If it is not 2nd hand, I would contact Line6. http://line6.com/company/contact/

Don't worry about any licensing. The Bass PODxt really has no extra software to authorize. Any of the firmware updates you may have done are in the POD. Do you store tones on your computer?

If you select a "My Tones" tone, it should load to the hardware. Any tone you currently have selected you can choose to save to the hardware if you wish. My guess is My Tones may be saved to your Line6 account, and the most recent version the last time the app was connected to the cloud is saved locally on your iOS7 device. I do know for sure my last set of "My Tones" were availbe with no inter net connection.

The older Toneports will not run POD Farm 2.5x without purchasing an upgrade. Make sure you are authorizing/running POD Farm 1.12

(cross post) There are different ways you can hook these up depending on what you are trying to achieve. I do not have first hand experience with the M13, but I know it's pretty versatile, especially with the assignable effects loop. This is one method: Guitar >> M13 L(mono) Input >> M13 FX Send L(mono) >> FX100 Guitar In >> FX100 Main Out (L/R) >> M13 FX Return L/R This will take advantage of the M13's assignable FX Loop in stereo. Another approach: Guitar >> FX100 Guitar In >> FX100 Main Out (L/R) >> M13 Input L/R This puts everything in front of the M13's signal chain, could be useful to take advantage of the FX100's AMP models while leveraging stereo effects from the FX100 and M13. If you are plugging into a mono amp and not concerned with stereo, you can replace all the above instances of L/R with L(mono). If you have an effects loop on your amp that opens another set of configurations.
