You cannot disconnect the FX knob link per se, you can only reassign it to another parameter. But you should be able to adjust all the settings via the app and then save it to the hardware (and/or MyTones). I will look into the Tap Tempo behavior, but I think it defaults to the time value set in the preset.

Can't Register My Toneport Ux-2

Is it possible you registered it 2 years ago under a different Line6 account? -

UX1 studio and mavericks drivers?
Triryche replied to greenmeanie's topic in POD Farm / POD Studio / TonePort
Not sure if this applies to you or this is what you already tried, but take a look at Zap's reply in this thread. http://line6.com/support/topic/4501-license-manager-wont-detect-ux2/?hl=terminal&do=findComment&comment=29433 -
Are you still in the exchange window (if you purchased locally)? Might be quicker/easier.

Spacey warble sound when switching patches
Triryche replied to bhamnerky's topic in AMPLIFi TT/FX100
This can happen if there are time based effects on in both patches with different times. -
Currently the the FX100's display will show the last bank navigated to via the pedal. But selecting any bank from the app will load that current tone. I agree the pedal should reflect the bank selected in the app, hopefully this will happen in a future upgrade.

The closest thing is probably the Synth Harmony under the Filter effects. Or there's the Double Bass and Sub Octaves. But my guess is these aren't really gonna do what you want.
-
I know you probably did all this already, but just on the off chance a simple detail was missed, here is a vid from the KB. If you purchased it locally, I would definitely exchange it. At this point I would contact Line6, give them a call or open a support ticket. http://line6.com/company/contact/

So with an iOS device, in settings, under BT, does it "see" the AMPLIFi?
-
Are you plugging a cable into the AMP OUT of the FX100? This disables guitar to the main outs and headphones.

If you press the hardware screen, it shold populate the page with all 100 presets. Is it greyed out?

Toneport ignoring all amp/cabinet simulations
Triryche replied to msary12's topic in POD Farm / POD Studio / TonePort
Yeah, the older Toneports typically did not come with PF2, unless it was first registered after a certain date (I think Oct 2010??) when Line6 started rolling out PF2 with the POD Studios. So you will need to use PF 1.12 unless you purchase(d) an upgrade to PF2. Monkey should have installed it already, but double check to see if you have a green tick for PF 1.12. Locate the PF1 launch icon in the Line6 folder (not sure where Win 8 might put a shortcut). FWIW, I am using Win 7, my daughter has Win8, but I haven't used it enough to be familiar with the GUI yet. -
Toneport ignoring all amp/cabinet simulations
Triryche replied to msary12's topic in POD Farm / POD Studio / TonePort
Did you run the newest version of Monkey? You should have green ticks for drivers, PF, ect... Have you run the License Manger? Also, if this is an older Toneport, it may only have PF 1.12, if that is the case make sure you are launching PF1 and not PF2. -
Check the mixer view in PF2.
-
You can switch banks with the app via the hardware screen. Also, any of the banks can be used as user presets and renamed.
-
Yes, that is what I was getting at. FWIW, when I use thew UX2, I typically capture wet and dry (stereo) tracks simultaneously, this can be set up in PF's mixer view under "sends" and enabling all 4 sends in your DAW This way you can dial in a rough idea of the tone you want without getting it exact, and then add the plug-in to the dry track post processing with endless tweekabilty.
