  1. No, there currently is not an option to do this.
  2. That is correct. The new owner can download the newest Monkey to get all the current software/drivers. http://line6.com/software/
  3. I see. The plug-in should still work in your DAW. But I guess your issue would be getting a dry guitar to your DAW.
  4. Which one do you have, they should absolutely have ASIO drivers.
  5. Punster, Both methods are very typical and should be fine with any guitar amp with an effects loop. John61524, Currently there is no bypass option per se, but you can engage the tuner. Also, you can have an empty patch. Presets 25 A thru D start out blank.
  6. A few other thing to try just to eliminate something simple, new USB Cable, disable anti-virus/firewall, run Monkey in administrator mode. You could also try to uninstall all Line6 software/drivers using their uninstall tool and run the newest version of Monkey starting from scratch. I would try a different computer to help rule out the X3. I know some of the older PODxt's with a firmware of 1.x needed to be flashed via a MIDI cable, but I do not think that is the case with the X3 series. I will try to get another set of eyes on this.
  7. Do you have the newest version of the Monkey? What OS are you using?
  8. The 1st thing I notice is the Guitar In-Z and Input Setup are different. Also check the PAD switch on the HD500.
  9. Favorite all time tone?? Too many to pick one!! Kinda weird for me to jump into that song with out a Bad Ground. :o
  10. It's not the oldest set list that will be replaced, it is the active one as silverhead points out. I think I have a bit of OCD, so I get it if you just want the set-list "empty'. Nice chops on your sire btw.
  11. How are you monitoring your sound?
  12. You can reflash the X3 to get back all the factory presets, but this will not bring back any tones your friend made. http://line6.com/support/page/kb/_/pod/pod-x3/pod-x3-series-factory-reset-reflash-and-firm-r412 You can also back up individual tones or all the atones as a bundle with a computer.
  13. Are you wanting to clear out a set lists for the sake of freeing up memory? If so, no need to worry, the memory allocated to the presets is fixed.
  14. You need to get a Digital Audio Workstation. There are many DAW's to choose from. I currently use Reaper, good bang for your back IMHO, and is free to try. Many around here use it and Reaper also has a good forum.
  15. It is compatible with Line 6 FBV MkII foot controllers. http://line6.com/support/page/kb/_/amplifiers/ampl/amplififaq Also check out this thread. http://line6.com/support/topic/5787-functionality-with-fbv-shortboard-mk-ii/
  16. Unfortunately there is no aux in on the POD 2.0. You could run the analog outs to your computer and play along with anything on your computer.
  17. Right, if a future firmware update allows the FX100's display to mirror the app, that would be great. So you could say jump from bank 1 to 23. But with the foot-switches, going from bank 1 to 23 is only 3 steps down. :D But I totally get what you are saying. But for live use it should be easy enough to configure the FX100 to match your set with a few adjacent banks.
  18. Input monitor level is only to make the graphic appear on the recording track. I understand the confusion now. POD Farm 2 has 2 different forms, Tone Direct Monitoring (standalone) and Plug-In (VST/RATS). Launching POD Farm 2 form outside your DAW with the shortcut on your desktop or from your Start menu is the standalone version. This is the method you should use to make available to Reaper the4 sends from POD Farm. Launching POD Farm 2 from within your DAW creates and instance of the POD Farm 2 Plug-in. This is the method you should use to add POD Farm 2 models and effects to any previously recorded tracks. If you don't get it right away, no worries, I would search some youtube videos and/or ask more questions here and/or Reaper forums. As for MIDI, it contains no sound (just numerical information), and unless you have a MIDI controller, I would not worry about it at this point.
  19. Confirmed. All of my "My Tones" were available with no internet connection.
  20. In Reaper preferences in the Device Menu: Audio System: ASIO - this will change the available settings from input device to ASIO Driver. Select : ASIO UX2 This should give you access to the Enable inputs 1 thru 4 (first = 1 last = 4). In the POD Farm 2 mixer view you should see rec sends 1-2 and 3-4 with drop down options. A typical work flow is to capture tone A+B wet (1-2) and dry input (3-4) to your DAW, then you can add the PF2 plug-in to the dry track post processing. I typically arm two tracks to record, one receiving 1-2 and the other 3-4. The wet track is just a rough sketch/reminder for me and the dry has endless tweaking options with the plug-in.. I can post some screen shots if you need, just not sure how soon I can to to it.
  21. Good question. I think they will as long as you had a connection before going to Timbuktu. I will partial test this this weekend, I won't go to Timbuktu, but I will disable my WiFi and see if My Tones are still accessible in the app. I will post back the results unless someone beats me to it. .
  22. I am using an iPad Air. Sometimes my daughter has a quadrillion apps going in the background with tons of notifications from social media sites, which I think may have caused some streaming issues in the past, I'm not certain though. Now I quit all background apps (double-click the Home button to see all the background apps) and have her sign out of the sites before I use it. Maybe try re-installing the app, forget the BT connection and reconnect.
