No I didn't but I had those Strange sounds and Drone patches and Finally the Helix has ALL of those Legacy Effects that can create all of the sound effects in that set.

Usually around 1K or 2K boost of just a couple db will do the trick.

Midrange cuts through the mix. I would assume that's why the Boss unit is so easily heard. The mids are accentuated in their amp models. Lots of people call it "Cocked Wah"

I use the Helis 1/4in. L&R outs into the rear of the Firehawk 1500 and the volume will vibrate your clothing if you want it to. I have the rear volume knob of the helix all the way up and my volume on the helix itself is at about 2 o'clock.

You need to go here: https://line6.com/software/ Choose your Helix from the Left drop down menu and your operating system on the right drop down menu. Click on GO Scroll down and download and install the Line 6 Updater 1.14. Once you install that, close the program. Then connect your Helix LT USB to your computer. Then open up the Line 6 Updater. It should recognize your Helix LT. Just follow the instructions. They've made it super easy. You might need to also download the HX Edit 2.60 if the Updater doesn't prompt you to download that. That's the program you use to back-up and load presets.

Yes if you download and install the latest Helix Updater version 1.14 you'll be good to go. All you have to do to back up your patches & IR's this: Set up a folder on your desktop. Then all you do is drag them from the Helix editor into that folder on your desktop. It would probably be helpful to make 2 folders in that main folder. 1 named Patches and 1 named IR's. Then follow my guide video (I guess I should update that, but it's the same process!!) It is important though the PLEASE BACK-UP YOUR PATCHES AND IR'S BEFORE DOING THIS!!

Hi dd, Don't do the Mackie thing!! They don't work good with modelers. Just use the Lo & Hi Cuts in the amp block! They will get you far!!

Sounds like you are not in the right mode. Just press the Mode switch (top right button on the top row).
