  1. Are you sure both tuners are using the same reference (e.g. A 440)? Try using a 3rd tuner to identify the culprit?
  2. Simply connect your external pedal to the EXP2 jack on the rear panel of the LT. Use the Controller Assign feature to assign EXP1 (the onboard pedal) and EXP2 (external pedal) to your preferred parameters (Vol level and Wah level). See manual for further details re: Controller Assign feature if desired.
  3. I can’t seem to get this off my mind this morning. It’s like a song that gets into your head and just keeps repeating…. If I were to go ahead with development on this I would, like most software development, do it in stages. Phase 1: Compatibility Tester. This first piece of development would take a Helix preset as Input. Output is a Yes/No answer to the question “Is this Helix preset fully compatible with a POD Go preset in all respects: structure and routing, amp/FX block selection, number of snapshots, controller assignments, and any other considerations?” Without this basic capability I don’t think you can do anything meaningful. Phase 2: Compatible Converter. This would follow quickly after Phase 1 and would convert fully compatible Helix presets (inputs) into POD Go presets (outputs). Phase 3: Compatibility Analyzer: This would produce a report that identifies all incompatible elements of a Helix preset that is not fully compatible with a POD Go preset, and provides options and/or recommendations for manual conversion. It provides users with an itemized list of all items in a Helix preset and the manual additions and changes they would need to make using POD Go Edit to get as close as possible to the Helix preset, starting with a POD Go New Preset. Phase 4 and ongoing: General Converter. A series of iterations and product updates that gradually address the automation of the items in the Phase 3 reports, from relatively simple to more difficult. The first iteration would invoke the Phase 2 Compatibility Converter applied to the Phase 3 Compatibility Analyzer, make some clearly identified ’best guess’ decisions, and produce a POD Go preset that could be used as a starting point for further manual edits. EDIT: An afterthought (as it usually is). Don’t forget to factor in ongoing maintenance to this utility. If people are going to pay for it, and for it to remain relevant, it will need to be at least reviewed and usually updated as both Helix and POD Go receive firmware updates.
  4. I'm re-posting this with a supportive, not oppositional, intent. For those considering the utility of developing this converter it might help to understand the development cost and overall applicability vs. the alternative quoted above. Try downloading a couple of dozen of the most highly rated Helix presets from Customtone. View them using the above link, and attempt to recreate them manually in POD Go Edit. What percentage of Helix presets can be converted directly, with no decision making? Each time you need to make a compatibility decision (i.e. something in the Helix preset that can't be directly translated to Pod Go) ask yourself how difficult it might be to automate that decision in code. For those that require decisions, what's the likelihood that 'good' decisions can be made (a clear inarguable decision in each case) that doesn't dissatisfy as many people as it satisfies? To what extent would user interaction be required (e.g. a prompting question) to answer key questions? Notes: - I think Helix presets available for purchase on Helix Marketplace are likely to be more, not less, complex than Customtone presets. If you have access to some Marketplace presets use those too. Using only Customtone presets may leave you with unwarranted optimism if you really want to appeal to users. - In my days of software development (a long time ago in a Galaxy far. far away...) about 80% of the code in an average software product was dedicated to handling user interaction I/O with the unpredictable user actions. That's probably been reduced by now but I expect it's still the majority of code. This exercise may provide you with some insight to the key question: Is it worth it to develop a converter, or just convert manually for yourself on an ad hoc basis as outlined above?
  5. Yes, but no. An actual capo takes time to apply/remove, and doesn’t allow down-shifting. Also using an actual capo does not result in any dissonance as you hear the physical vibrations of the strings. Using the Poly Capo you hear this in the background, in standard tuning, while also hearing the adjusted pitch of the strings. Most players who hear this for the first time think the FX is not working properly.
  6. Please clarify. Do you mean you can’t get any sound at all, or that you can’t get a good sound?
  7. Yes you can do that. A few thoughts come to mind: - latency would be much worse in the plug-in version of POD Farm, but that’s not to say there won’t be any using the standalone. Whether it’s an issue for you, using your computer, only you can say. - Your internal computer soundcard (including the input and output you will be using) may not provide very good quality. - The headphone output level will probably need to factored in to the board’s input channel settings, particularly Input Trim.
  8. Yes you can assign the Vol Min/Max levels on a snapshot basis. It’s not a pedal rock/touch. The Volume will increase instantaneously when you switch Snapshots. You may need to get used to it.
  9. If you set the Max Value for the Vol pedal at 85% then that’s the value at the full toe position. The Max/Min values apply at the pedal’s fully ‘rocked’ toe/heel position. You can’t get to 100% because you’ve told it not to go there. You’ve told it to stop at 85%. To be crystal clear, if you set the Min and Max levels both to 50% then the volume will always be at 50%. Rocking the pedal will do nothing. Yes, that’s the correct way. Pushing and turning a parameter knob assigns it to the Snapshot controller. There are other ways but that’s the best/fastest.
  10. Go to your account settings. There’s a section called Register Gear. You can remove it there.
  11. Interesting point about the panned dual cabs but I don’t think it translates to a stereo signal passing thru from your Delay block. I believe each cab receives the incoming stereo signal and sums it to mono. I don’t think one cab takes the L side of the incoming stereo signal and the other takes the R side to maintain and pass thru their respective sides. Rather, each cab turns a stereo signal to mono and then processes it according to the cab parameters. I think panning each cab fully L/R means you only hear the processed (mono) sound of one cab in the L stereo channel and the sound of the other cab only in the R side. I believe any stereo effects in your Delay block are lost on entry to the dual cab block. But I’m not certain about this. Hopefully someone will correct me if I’m wrong.
  12. I expect this restriction (no recording from PC audio) is in place due to copyright protection. For instance, does YouTube, or Spotify, or Apple Music give you permission to copy their streaming? I ask sincerely …. I don’t know since I’ve never considered it. I’d be surprised if it does.
  13. The signal reaching your output block is mono because both the amp and cab are mono blocks. You need to position your stereo FX after any mono block in the chain. …. and …. I think it might sound better with a cab/IR after the amp in the 1B path. If you want the amps to be heard independently and alone in the L/R stereo field, add a merge block routing path 1B back to the end of 1A and use the merge parameters to pan the signals to taste.
  14. Why? You can use the mags anytime, and sounds like you would even if you’re successful in making the model sound close. Any real application, or just idle curiosity?
  15. There isn’t a comprehensive effects reference guide for the POD Go, but there is one for Helix. It’s not free but it is very reasonably priced. It is authored by Craig Anderton and is available on Sweetwater. It’s called The Big Book of Helix Tips and Tricks. Since the POD Go FX are essentially a subset of the Helix FX I believe it will serve as a comprehensive POD Go FX reference guide. Much of the content in this book is Helix specific but there’s a lot that’s conceptually transferable. You’ll have to decide whether you think it’s worth it to you but as I said - very reasonably priced.
  16. My guess is that your volume was too high when the signal hit your speakers. When your POD connects to your computer via USB it becomes your computer’s soundcard. There are two relevant volume controls - the one that controls the level sent from your computer to the POD Inputs (controlled by your computer’s volume level) and the one that controls the level sent form the POD outputs to the speakers (the POD’s main volume control). Your setup with the speakers connected to your POD’s outputs is correct. But before sending a signal to your speakers you need to ensure that the volume is appropriate. Turn down the POD’s main volume control before you turn it on, the adjust the level upward. Use not the computer and POD volumes when you need to balance the volume of your guitar connected to the POD with playback from the computer.
  17. This must be a localized issue. Table of Contents in v1.2 PDF shows up just fine in iPad iOS v16.3.1.
  18. It seems you can use L6 Link to control various settings on your DT-25 from Helix / HX Edit. Consult the manuals for details. Apparently no need for MIDI. Again, sorry for the confusion.
  19. No, the presets are not compatible.
  20. I really don't know what I was thinking when I wrote the above. It is dead wrong. Helix does indeed have the L6 Link technology and HX Edit does provide a direct mapping to control a DT amp. It should work pretty much like the HD500 did. Sorry for any confusion I caused.
  21. The update procedure does not update/replace any presets on your device unless you follow the recommendation to perform a factory reset after the update is complete. Did you do that?
  22. Time to open a support ticket.
  23. I expect your average busking audience would have a hard time distinguishing Helix from this, especially in an outdoor environment: https://line6.com/pocket-pod/ If your mic needs something use a speaker that has a mic input. The $$ in your donation jar would be the same I think.
