  1. Hi Pier, thanks for your reply. The switch allows me to access tap tempo and occasionally the tuner engages. As you suggest the switch may be at end of life. I will see if I can get it replaced. Cheers Don.
  2. My tuner had stopped working. I have re booted my helix 3.50 and upgraded edit to 3.51 and found my tuner works intermittently. Does anyone else have this problem and if so is there a solution to fix it? Thanks Don.

  11. Same thing happened to my Helix. Luckily I know a great electrician, he took the Helix apart and found that the four wires on the rotary dial had come away from the connection. He simply resoldered all the wires and hey presto! That was over 12 months ago and the Helix is as good as gold. Good luck with yours.

  13. Thank you DI and all at Line 6 you have made an "old man" very happy especially with Workbench intergration can you BOLD and Underline that point on the instruction download as this is a very important addition to us faithful Line 6 Variax users. Once again thanks to all at Line 6 great job. :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D
  14. I had the same issue with my JTV69 and fixed it by reflashing.
  15. I agree and think you should put this idea on the idea scale forum.
  16. I checked mine and it does show that the editor is 2.10 whereas the firmware on my Helix and on Editor home screen say 2.11. Is there a way to install the editor without hooking up the Helix? I don't want to go through the reinstallation of IR's and settings etc.
  17. Have you checked that the preferences are set to preset/snapshot stomp/preset etc?
  18. This was my OP called "Hasn't Line 6 learned? That outlines many of our collective frustration updating firmware. There is one member called "Hefonthefjords" that seems to be very knowledgeable in "computer speak". This member gave a solution to the expression pedal problem. I believe that member should or could be involved in update rollouts to avoid Line 6 user angst. "So eagerly, I alongside possibly thousands of other faithful Line 6 users downloaded the "latest and greatest" update 2.10 only to be disappointed in the "schemozzle" of the Expression pedal being unusable and the presets sounding completely different!! As a professional musician I rely on dependabilty and predictability of my equipment to ensure my audience is pleased. The new update is a disgrace. So much so I am hoping that I can roll back to 2.01 and get my tones back. This new update has clearly not been tested by working/gigging musicians and it seems to me has been released for "Thanksgiving" to "Please" the "I want something now crowd" !!! It is no wonder Line 6 has a bad reputation with some musicians. Line 6 If you are going to update Helix or any Line 6 product GET IT RIGHT or don't dot it !!!!!"
  19. Once sgain thank you. Maybe Line 6 should run new updates by you before releasing themðŸ‘😜ðŸ‘😜ðŸ‘
  20. Thanks to Hefonthefjords (this person is a genius) I was able to regain my presets sounds and functionality as well as my sanity after resetting every preset and snapshot. My original post was made because Line 6 have made this same mistake of "bugs" in the system on every update they have released and was aimed at no-one in particular and if you took offence then the "cap must have fitted". A sincere thanks also goes out to all of you who offered serious help. Now I'm off to earn my living.
