Hey Guys, Today we have a play through of one of my tracks, Heavy as Heavy. I recorded the track with all new guitar tones using the Line 6 Helix Rack. I used the PV Panama amp model which is modeled after the Peavey 5150. I stayed inside of the Helix this time using the 4 X 12 Uber T75 Cabinet model using a “Dual” Cab block blending two different mics and placement on the same cab. CHAIN: PRS Tremonti SE loaded with Fishman Fluence Moderns Line 6 Helix Rack using the PV Panama amp model and 4 x 12 Uber T75 cabinet model Into the Universal Audio Apollo Twin which feeds Persons Studio One 3 Drums are courtesy of Toontrack Superior Drummer 3- 1 reply

Hey guys, Today I have a “Dimebag” Darrel / Pantera inspired guitar tone. I threw together some fun Pantera riffs to demo the tone. It’s more of a hybrid of Dime’s tone as it evolved through Reinventing the Steel. This was a lot of fun. I used Ownhammer impulses on this one. Their stuff is the best. I used a blend of: OH 412 ENG V30 421-FRED OH 412 ENG V30 421-EDGE FRED for cutting through and the EDGE for the chunk and low end. I used the LINE 6 Fatality model. CHAIN: PRS Tremonti SE loaded with Fishman Fluence Moderns Line 6 Helix Rack using the Line 6 Fatality amp model and Ownhammer Impulses Into the Universal Audio Apollo Twin which feeds Persons Studio One 3 Drums are Toontrack Superior Drummer 3

Hello all. I am not sure if this is the place But I am looking for help or advice on creating a patch to closely replicate the insane crushing metal tone of Dimebags set up on the Pantera album Great Southern Trendkill. I have tried the customtone presets but they just do not make the cut in my humble opinion. So if anyone has any advice or settings or a patch they can upload I would greatly appreciate it.

Today we are going over how I developed a dual amp metal tone with the Line 6 Helix Rack using Ownhammer Impulses. I walk you through my process as well as give some sound examples throughout. I ended up using the both the Line 6 Badonk amp model as well as the Revv Red amp model which of course is modeled after the Revv Generator 120. I used Ownhammer IRs and specifically one from their true stereo Zilla 412 pack that uses vintage 30 speakers and a Royer 121 mic.

Hey guys! The new Helix firmware 2.9 is here and it came with the purple channel from the amazing Revv Generator 120. Brutal sounding for sure. I put together this track with of course, my Solar Guitars A 1.6 Artist and I am using Ownhammer Impulses. Hello! I recently bought Helix LT. I've been extremely disappointed in it. I can't get a decent metal tone out of it. Like EVH type of stuff. Or Metallica, Megadeth etc. I even bought some IR:s from OwnHammer. Bought EVH cab, some Engl cabs etc. Doesn't make much of a different. Sounds like absolute garbage. Been trying out Engl model with EVH IR and different high gain heads/amps like 5150 and Soldano. They all suck pretty badly. Also tried to put Tubescreamer in front of the amp. In "real life" I play Engl amps. Have Savage head and Screamer combo. I put the guitar cable in and that's it, the sound is perfect, no tweaking needed whatsoever. Been playing guitar nearly 30 years and I teach guitar for living, so I'm no beginner with this stuff. Any suggestions ...?

Hey guys! Put together a "Clutch" type of tone inside of Helix with the Brit P75 Brt Amp Model using Ownhammer Impulse Response Libraries Zilla Fatboy 212. Recording chain is a PRS SE Custom with Seymor Duncans into the Line 6 Helix, throught the Universal Audio Apollo Twin Duo, into Logic Prox X. Drums courtesy of Toontrack Superior Drummer 3

Hey Guys, Today I have yet another modern metal tone using the Line 6 Helix, Ownhammer Impulse Responses and the Line 6 Badonk amp model. I have two IR's stacked in this one using the phase trick I demonstrated in my video about IR's and how I use them. The song in this video is an original with the working title of Simplicity. Hey Guys, Today I have a playthrough of my newest instrumental track, Beautiful Burden. This song was recorded using my Solar Guitars A 1.6 Artist LTD. All guitar and bass were tracked with the Line 6 Helix Rack using Ownhammer Impulses I’m really proud of how this track turned out. The gutters cut through and sound aggressive and heavy. That bass is low and gnarly and the overall mix may be one of my best. I'm thinking about releasing this as a single on all digital platforms. Hey guys. I've had some requests for a heavy tone that can be used for a Standard or Drop D tuned guitar. I came up with this. Hope you guys like it. I experimented a bit with this tone using two signal paths to blend together. Each path uses the PV Panama model. Per usual, I used Ownhammer Impulses. It is a blend of OH 412 ENG V30 421-FRED and OH 212 ZLSF V30 OH1-05 More details to come in the tone explanation video later this week. Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday and Xmas.

Hey guys, Today I explain my Ola Englund / The Haunted tone that I made for the Line 6 Helix. The IR pack I used is from none other than Ownhammer and can be found here https://bit.ly/2H8Il4k I demonstrate the tone within Line 6 Helix Native but I created it on the Line 6 Helix Rack. All you have to do is drag and drop your tone and IR files into Helix Native to get this to work.
