swhitlow Posted December 20, 2025 Share Posted December 20, 2025 I have rebooted the stadium after this happened. I can recreate the issue with my presets as well just by booting it up and then switching between specific presets I have. No sound coming from the unit and matrix mixer shows sound graph (the green leds that would usually show a signal) but they are all at the same half way level with no sound coming out and not input from the guitar. If I reboot, everything comes back and I get normal sound again and normal input readings. I then play for a little bit, and then swtich presets and it happens again over and over again. I am opening a support ticket as well but was wondering if anyone else has had issues with this one? I might try another browser to be sure, but the support rep said "yes, it's down". Also, I'm having this issue too - like exactly as described in the original post. When I called support they didn't have any real answers for me and the call ultimately got disconnected (connection was terrible, he was cutting in and out). Not sure where to go from here. talwilkins Posted December 22, 2025 Share Posted December 22, 2025 I think I have had the same issue. I'm not sure if it happened when switching presets but that's very possible. I was editing multiple presets I had imported from my OG Helix. They all needed the same change, so i wasn't playing the presets. Just changing some settings, saving, and moving on to the next preset. Then discovered there was no sound when starting to play. I filed a ticket. gbr13697 Posted December 23, 2025 Share Posted December 23, 2025 Just to be sure, I would check for any volume pedals or snapshot settings that were saved at zero (or on imported presets where the import bug has added snapshot controls that were not there originally). I often have to cycle my expression pedal that sets volume up and down a few times before things come to life. I have also seen controls that don't work at all when opening a preset, and may control a parameter that has set itself to zero. music24_7 Posted December 23, 2025 Share Posted December 23, 2025 I had the same happen. Imported presets and IRs. I would get about 3 seconds of sound and then nothing. As a test, i updated the firmware via USB and it got a bit better (THE UNIT WAS FUNCTIONAL) but when you add more than 2 IRs, it will crash. So far I have created two presets to date that trigger this issue. I uploaded the first one to Line 6 support via a ticket I created. They couldn't replicate it with my preset. I do not know if it is a continuation of the DSP issue where I could create a preset that should have been limited to adding FX blocks up to but not beyond the DSP limit of the device. I tried yesterday with the same result.. you say chrome works.. i try chrome.. ive tried pretty much every other browser as well. Ive gotten the same result from multiple platforms.. multiple linux boxes.. macos boxes .. and android phones. blueraiderv2 Posted December 30, 2025 Share Posted December 30, 2025 good news boys... after fighting with their website for 14 days.. they made the mistake of sending me a customer satisfaction survey .... and that seems to have helped them fix their ticketing site... probably didnt do much for the job security of the QA team. but today i got my first ticket filed with the exact steps to replicate the bug. its super simple to replicate. now its on to the waiting game. and that patch i gave them is so awesome.. if they had any sense at all they would include it in the next release so you guys can at least attempt to sound as good as me. :) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Seems that something is wrong with firmware. I went back to previous version the no sound problem seems that disappeared, but the REbooting issue continues. Any solution/thoughts? I have opened a service ticket before doing all of this.I tirned on the Stadium XL in maintenance mode and reset to factory settings, still showing firmware 1.2, disabled wifi and bluetooth. Then I installed Line 6 Central on my Apple M1 Laptop (the Stadium XL 1.2 software was already installed on this computer). Connected the Stadium XL via USB. Reinstalled firmware 1.2. It seems to work better: when I replace the amp with a different amp in the same amp block within the same preset sound quits with some amps, but when I pick a different amp it comes back. I’m still experimenting with this. So far the XL was an expensive paperweight as someone else has put it. For the mean time I’m still using my Fractal setup. I reached out to support and they had me perform a factory reset but as soon as I try and restore any of my presets then the issue comes back. This latest update has been pretty rough. blueraiderv2 Posted December 31, 2025 Share Posted December 31, 2025 they responded to my ticket today and said they didnt think it was a bug. i should factory reset. and they "couldnt reproduce it on 1.2" which is complete nonsense.. i didnt say to reproduce it on 1.2.. i said start with 1.11.0 and load the patch.. then upgrade and you will have the nightmare. if "factory reset" is the only path forward this should have been a major version change not a minor and there should have been disclosure and warnings saying yeah youre about to throw away all your work and youre going to get to rebuild from the ground up. im not hopeful for this. they arent taking it seriously at all. this is a beta piece of junk and after years gigging with line 6 products boys im about to have to go find a company that both produces and conducts itself a little better than what we are currently dealing with. we could be friends Line 6.. people stare at me playing your gear every week.. how about i just let the masses see what junk you guys are putting out these days? factory resetting my sound isnt what we are going to do.. its not a path forward for anyone that plays outside their bedroom.. i mean.. that nonsense doesnt even make it to the garage. (something has to buy these expensive toys to go make chump change with at night) for that matter.. send me an nda / non compete and a git login and ill take a crack at patching this for us. dont know what its written in but ive a hunch. the sqlite db is easy enough to follow. have to see something else to understand the rest of it.. made heavy use of blob in there.
