Well after rooting around here to find an answer I found none. What I'm trying to do is use the POD Go in the fx loop on an amp. I'm NOT using the POD Go guitar input but rather merely hooking up the fx loop with the amp's fx loop as you would treat the POD Go like it was just a pedal. Is it not possible to send a guitar signal out of the amp, into the RETURN jack and SEND the POD Go processed sound back out the SEND jack to the amp? I've tried global settings to instrument and line and nothing changes. I did find a guy's page who mentions the 2 cable method, just send/return to send/return. Obviously the way the PodGO is set up it's not working. The chain is set up similar to the attached pic, except that all 4 fx slots are in front of the loop, the amp, cabs and eq are all after and turned off. Effects loop is set as you see it in the pic. If set up like the pic, I get no sound. The Amp is a Katana, set to SERIES. As it appears the Katana is sending out the preamp signal to the POD Go, the POD Go isn't set up correctly apparently although visually as it's set up it makes sense. Ideally I'd like to separate the "fx loop" itself so the return goes in front of the 2 pedals and 4 fx slots and the send after them but that's not how it works apparently. Not interested in 4 cable method btw.

I just got a HX Effects and was excited to use the Ext Amp jack to control the Vibrato and Reverb effects of my Fender Deluxe Reverb. I actually have two Deluxe Reverbs, so I was hoping to get this going on both amps, one from each jack! However for the benefit of the first test, I tried a single amp, but had no luck! I connected it to my amp with a TRS cable then went to the Command Center, selected a foot switch, selected Ext Amp, and then tried all the various settings for tips, ring, latch, etc. Nothing worked. Is this not possible?! I've updated the firmware to the latest 3.71.

Your driver is out of date. To ensure that all software components are current and compatible I suggest you download and install the complete HX Edit installation package.

Is it possible the pitch effect is tied into another button and the reason you don't see it all the time depends on the song you are playing next? In other words, is there another effect you use less frequently that might have accidentally been wired to the pitch effect too? If you upload the patch we can at least look at that. I use the simple pitch all the time and have never had this issue. I do send it through a split path and only have it used on sub 200hz or so, so that might be different.

No, that's not correct, I don't must use VDI cable to use the models, that's why the Variax has a battery just to emulate the guitars, that's would mean that if anyone wants to buy a Variax and don't have the whole setup with the pedal floor or whatever can't use the models, that would be not "smart" from Line 6, on the other hand, my JTV-69 use to work with the battery and the 1/4 cable emulating all guitars in it. I just don't know what happened now the guitar just get mute when I use ONLY the 1/4. I have a link with a short video showing what's the situation, you are welcome to see it. @hurghanico

No, I turn it on and off several times, and when is off, you can hear the pick ups sound of the Variax but when I start the push botton to use the emulations it just got mute, it work fine with the Variax cable through the HD500X witch I have. @codamedia is the original battery.

Did the problem start with the "new battery"? Is it a genuine battery, or third party? I see in the video you show a full charge... but you do that with the modeling turned off. Check the status with the modeling on since that puts the load on the battery. Do you have anything with a VDI port so you check to see if the modeling is working there? Also, @psarkissiansuggests using a TRS cable, not a TS.... the cable in the video looks to be a standard TS (but I could be wrong).

I rarely use my Helix Floor footswitches as I can get everything I need from my Morningstar MC8. I've had this unit since 2015 and I can't say it's been as problematic as yours but some buttons always needed some attention to keep functioning well, and it's just as easy and more reliable to do everything over MIDI.

Hi. It seems that my Helix Control is not up to the rigours of life on the carpeted floor of my home studio and has gradually decayed after 3 or 4 years of very easy use, the foot switches are unreliable and the power flickers on and off depending on the position of the cable. I'm not going to buy a secondhand one that might just end up the same way in a year or two and new ones are over £400, for this sort of money it seems like there are a lot of of options and since all of the functions I use respond to midi commands, should I consider something else? The Voodoo Labs thing looks good and there is even this which looks very cool as well as doing way more than the Control. Any opinions or experience will be welcome. (I'll only be using it in the home studio). Thanks.

An observation: both the Helix Control and the VDI port on the back of the Rack use the same type of connector, and the ports are adjacent. Are you sure you don’t have your Variax connected to the Helix Control port?

I finally figured it out! If I add both VOLUME and WAH to the same switch, I need to build the edit with 1 of them ON, and the other OFF. When I do so, turning the switch on and off, switches between them flawlessly... Ahh...... loll... Thank you Schmalle. I may be a little slow, but I'm getting there... In fact I was literally making a mountain, out of a molehill... I kept building the edits with both on, and there you go... loll

I noticed most not all of Line 6's original amp models (example Line 6 Doom) are on the Pod Go but from what I saw (as I do not currently own a Pod Go) some are missing (example Line 6 Oblivion). I own Helix Native and as much as I love all the amp models I almost always use the Line 6 ones over all the others. Effect wise the Pod Go has all the effects I really require and has enough flexibility to get my perfect tone. I want to purchase the Pod Go as I am in need of a physical pedal right now but I use the Oblivion amp a lot on my Native and basically if it won't come to the Pod Go it's honestly enough for me to go nah I will save up longer and get the Helix LT. My question is does anyone know if all the original amp models will come (eventually as it seems they will just delayed) to the Pod Go or is there no guarantee of that? (Edit) forgot to mention I am rather slow to respond as I'm quite busy these days but I'll reply when I'm able thanks in advance and hope you are all well.

Good day! I hope someone can assist here... I have a used TonePort UX2 from a jamming buddy. I downloaded drivers and got it to work with the Pod Farm app, but only in demo mode... said it needs to be authorized. Support gave me links to download the Line6 Monkey and License Manager... Well, the good ol' Monkey doesn't seem to run due to being 32-bit and tho' the License Mgr allowed me to authorize the TonePort UX2, after multiple reboots the Pod Farm app still says it isn't authorized / licensed and is still stuck in demo mode. Any ideas? Thanks! A

I assume you are using a Helix Rack without the Helix Control unit? I would make a backup using HX Edit and then perform a factory reset. On the Rack, press down parameter knobs 5+6 while powering up.

I just noticed that Helix is shutting off Variax on the guitar, then the message pops up on the screen. Also, it seems that the Variax models aren't playing through VDI
