  1. Ok. Figured it out, thanks to another post on the forum. It requires you to run Logic in Rosetta, validate the plugin while in Rosetta mode, then you can Un-Rosetta it and run Logic in non-rosetta mode. 1. Close Logic. Install Native 2. Open up Applications folder, right click Logic, click Get Info, check Rosetta. 3. Open Logic, open plugin manager, rescan Native to validate. If it says "validated". Exit Logic. 4. Open Applications folder, right click logic, Get info, uncheck Rosetta. 5. Run Logic and verify plugin is still validated and works. Note the I'm running the latest version of Big Sur as well, so this fix works on 11.4. @vadar1

  3. Real envelope filters exhibit that same sensitivity to pitch. That's why there's a Range control on a Mu-Tron. They can be tricky. But I actually sold my Mu-Tron III after comparing it to the Helix version. I didn't think there was that much difference at all between the analog pedal and the Helix model. As far as auto-swell, the newer ones can be a little hard to get right. Try using the Auto-Volume Echo model in the Legacy Delay folder with the Mix set all the way to zero. This will give you the classic Slow Gear type sound. And it's not as picky about the input levels.

  4. Wrong forum. This is where you go if you're serious about suggestions for changes and improvements: https://line6.ideascale.com/a/index Before posting a new idea, please search to see if it's already been proposed. If 100 people vote on the same idea presented 20 different ways, it looks like only 5 people care about it!

  5. Are you sure you are using the Line 6 driver, not a generic Microsoft driver? Did you follow the firmware update procedures as published in the firmware release notes? If not, I would expect two things to happen: 1) The firmware update will not work, and 2) You will have driver issues.

  6. Hi, Nobody from Line 6 is likely to spot your request here as this is a user group and very rarely visited by Line 6 staff. The place to post suggestions for any changes is Ideascale. https://line6.ideascale.com/a/index Make sure no one else has posted a similar request as that will water down the votes. When you have done that you can add your suggestion to this area to let others know:- If you really don’t like turning dials you could always use HX Edit and use a keyboard to type in the specific BPM you require. Hope this helps/makes sense.

  8. I started with an hx floor (which I love) but some gigs it's too big with my other pedals needed... Then I went to the hx stomp which allowed for smaller pedal boards (and I used two extra foot switches hooked up to it) When the XL came out, I bought that to replace the hx stomp. With the extra hx stomp switches built in to the unit, the unit feels and operates much more like the hx floor. I typically have four tones for about 90% of the songs we play and that means, just like with the floor, I am one stomp away from any of those tones. I like how the hx stomp can quickly go up and down in sets of (4) tones like the floor model. So what I am trying to say is there is a huge upgrade in features and use from the stomp to the stomp xl.

  9. Can anyone recommend some small speakers for use with the HX Stomp in a living room? I have a PowerCab I use with a full Helix out of the way but this is too much for the living room. I am looking for some some suitable speakers that could be used with a line in or bluetooth for music as well as connection to the HX Stomp. Thanks.

  10. I don’t think the next OS will be a problem like Big Sur. First of all, the issue now is recompiling/running on ARM, and whatever they did in 10.6.2 must have made Rosetta-based execution of something on ARM chips crash the plugin. It’s not like other plugins behave this badly - running Helix Native IMMEDIATELY brings down any DAW I use. Maybe they use an undocumented API or the OS is more protective of resources than it was before. If other plugin vendors can get their stuff working, so can Line 6. I would really just prefer the team announces a timeline. This is going to be the hardware platform for Macs in the future. Even if it is “not this year” I would like to know. I had planned on using Helix Native to record and Helix LT for performing and it would be nice to share presets like I did before. It is not a disaster for me (music is a hobby, not my career) but it is money spent on something I can’t use right now because of a laptop and OS choice. Thanks to the team who I am sure is very busy and constrained. I applied to the beta program and would be happy to help.

  11. Resolved pod hd500 continuous update flash. Connect hd500 with cable connected to the guitar input holding down move key! If you turn it on normally! Holding the left arrow to disconnect the power cord and plug it in again, leaving your hd500 to factory version. Ready problem solved!
