  1. One thing about using the harmonizer is that the interval is set. So if the original has a harmony lead that's not the same interval throughout the song, it won't work. Like from a 3rd to a 6th. It changes the interval to the proper minor or major interval based on the scale you set it to but the interval number itself does not change. This means you need would need to change the interval in the middle of the solo. An example would be the end lead for Hotel California. As I recal, there are two different intervals and I think it even uses two different scales. However, you can setup the interval and scale to be changed by a snapshot. That's how you can do the Hotel California harmony solo. I can't remember what the intervals are or the scale used but you can switch intervals that way (I think there are two). I think Memory Of Elizabeth Reed has more than two different intervals so you'll have to setup more snapshots but it can be done. In fact with the Hotel California lead I set it up so I can just rock the Expression pedal back and forth to go between the two different intervals. Hope I didn't just confuse things more.

  2. This post is intended to assist those that still require the aging LINE 6 EDIT on their Windows 10 machine in order to edit their PODs, XT's, etc... The current installers on their own will throw errors or simply won't work... but it all has to do with the JAVA pointers in the installation. They simply don't "point" to the right locations anymore. Download an older 32 bit JAVA installation.... Visit this site... (note. This may change in time, don't count on it being here forever) https://www.oracle.com/ca-en/java/technologies/oracle-java-archive-downloads.html Click on the JAVA SE 6 link (you can try something higher if you want, but I know this one works which is why I mention it) Navigate to the "Windows x86" package and download it. Install this package Download 'LINE 6 EDIT" from the Line 6 download area. Choose "Line 6 Edit" from the SOFTWARE dropdown Choose "Windows 7" from the OS dropdown Click GO Now download the WINDOWS 3.04 version of Line 6 EDIT (don't download the MAC version in error) Install the software, but uncheck the option to install JAVA Line 6 Edit should now load and find a connected device that is supported.

  3. It sounds like something is a bit out of phase. What kind of output device are you going to? Are you using stereo blocks?

  5. Hi, Interesting first post - to a thread that has been quietly sleeping for almost a year. BTW. I would think that “PierM” (who is a regular contributor with over 1200 posts) is fully aware of the output configuration. Possible why he suggested using the USB because that is what it is designed for. Hope this helps/makes sense.

  6. Is the jack configured properly in Global Settings>Preferences? 1 Pedal 1 Jack Determines whether the rear panel PEDAL/EXT AMP 1 jack acts as an additional expression pedal input (EXP 1) or as a dual amp control output for switching channels on external guitar amplifiers (EXT AMP 1 tip and/or sleeve). 2 Pedal 2 Jack Determines whether the rear panel PEDAL/EXT AMP 2 jack acts as an additional expression pedal input (EXP 2) or as a dual amp control output for switching channels on external guitar amplifiers (EXT AMP 2 tip and/or sleeve).

  7. Hi, if anyone's interested, I've made another of the cases similar to my other one pictured above (the brown one). It cost me about 40 quid to make this one cos I had to buy all the stuff from scratch. I'll post some pics shortly. Any offers before I put it on eBay??

  8. Hi, what about making one. I'm no expert by any means but I managed to build this from some plywood and a leatherette table top cover i nicked from the wife. We only used it for christmas dinner and she won't realise this christmas cos no'ones coming. I bought the catches, handle etc off ebay. I made it from watching someone make a guitar case on youtube. The pad on the inside of the lid, which is a piece of thin plywood and a piece of old memory foam covered in the leatherette, comes out to reveal a space where i keep the power cable etc. Cost me about 20 quid but like i said, i didn't have to buy the leatherette covering. It fits great tho. Hope you like
