  1. I have a bunch of tone tutorials on my channel as well.

  2. Your screenshots look like your Mac is running a MacOS version that is no more supported. HX Edit 3.80+ requires Catalina. But fear not, an intrepid fellow forum member has already figured out a hack that works: You can still use the Line 6 Updater and download and install the new firmware manually: https://line6.com/software

  3. There was one hardware change soon after the POD Go was released. That was a replacement of a part that affected the input impedance of the incoming guitar signal. The device serial number is the best way to determine whether a specific device is affected so you would need to contact Line 6 to determine whether a device is affected. If so Line 6 will repair it under a lifetime warranty for this specific fault. There have been no other hardware changes.

  4. The "best" sounding FRFR (a meaningless marketing term) for anything is so subjective as to be a pointless discussion. See TGP for dozens of such. I have a PC212+, HR FRFR112 and Rokit 6 studio monitors. They all sound good for different things and at different levels. The "best" sounding FRFR speaker is the one that YOU like best for YOUR application in YOUR listening environment. Which means that YOU would have to try them ALL to know which is "best". I know, not the answer you wanted. I mostly play my Helix through my Catalyst100 without IRs. If I played more "metal" I'd get a closed back cab and separate amp. For as often as I play that style, running the XLR Out from the Cat with emulation OFF into the PC212+ with speaker emulation (not FRFR) sounds good enough. YMMV.

  5. Same issue here with UX2, moving to a new Windows 11 machine. Now hardware and all software purchased (Farm 2 and addons) are useless. What the heck, dudes at Line6, please, a fix already!!@!

  6. A few things that I've found that help: Finding a good all-arounder amp model for the music you play and using snapshots and controller assignments in stomp mode to modify gain, eq, ir, and volume to help reduce the amount of effects blocks eating up DSP. Using a Pre EQ before the amp block rather than a tightening overdrive, and modifying your own IR's and loading them into your Stomp rather than post-EQ blocks in your chain. Using one effect for two things like the 3 Band Comp for EQ+Comp or a Delay with a level parameter boosted for leads with delay

  7. Make sure you have HX Edit closed when running Line 6 Updater, for one. That’s probably the most common reason for this.
