  1. gbr13697, I usually wait a day or two to apply updates incase there is a lag in the release of the complete App & Firmware packages. I know there wasn't an App update for firmware 1.3.1. The app is out as of now. jpd
  2. ReverendLove, I am glad you have the issue solved as far as the drivers. Communication during the process or at least a message saying they are aware and will work on it in future updates would have been nice for your peace of mind. I don't use Line 6 Central nor have installed on my systems. Hopefully the self update will work as expected for you at some future time. jpd
  3. jesuscares, If I am understanding your question, you should see the "ASIO Stadium" as a selection from the ASIO dropdown. As you probably already know, you will use Logic's external midi tracks to send the commands for preset/snapshot control. For connectivity use the USB-C on your mac to the USB-C on the Stadium. I am not a Mac expert so the way the drivers get installed from the Line 6 Stadium App is beyond me. You might want to open a ticket with Line 6 if you are truly having a Stadium ASIO driver issue. Compatible OS: Mac OS X, macOS Big Sur, macOS Catalina, macOS Monterey, macOS Sequoia, macOS Sonoma, macOS Tahoe, macOS Ventura And what I did is completely uninstall and & all OG Helix software with the exception of Helix Native. I found having a clean system works best for me. jpd
  4. matthewayers77, You've probably already checked, but to be safe ... have you adjusted the output to the headphone via the matrix levels?
  5. There are couple other earlier posts that discovered this update problem concerning the date issue as well.
  7. NU9Band, I noticed the same thing and pushed that question into a ticket I had open mid February. The tech responded that, while not addressed in any documents he has, the feature is supposed to be implemented in a future release. He did not say how or why it gets triggered since the file I sent him shows the screenshots as begin created randomly. He was pushing it up the chain to find out but as of now there is no further feedback from the tech. jpd
  8. kalebeisenman, One question ... did you previously have an OG Helix and imported presets into your new Stadium? jpd
  9. rmbecker23, Maybe I missed it, what amp are you using? jpd
  10. The factory reset is an addendum. When you read the thread I linked it shows how I have been able to not have the lost sound issue. The ability to restore from backup is huge for me not having to recreate the songs each time I reset to default and then restore. :-) jpd
  11. I have been looking for a Line 6 error matrix to see if there is some verbal reference to several errors this forum has reported. For the -103 I found an interesting "fix" in the following link This talks about a CDN (Content Distribution Network) issue for areas outside of the US. As with checking your time zone it may be of value so here is the nuts and bolts of the above link. *********************** begin quote ***************************************** EDIT (SOLVED): A huge thanks to u/guigh for the tip! It was indeed a regional/CDN issue here in Brazil. Here is the exact fix that worked for me: I installed a VPN on my PC and connected to a server in the USA. I connected the Helix Stadium XL via USB-C (direct port, no hubs). Ran the update through the Line 6 Central app. The VPN bypassed the connection errors (Response -4 and -103), and the update went through perfectly. If you're outside the US and hitting these errors on launch day, try a VPN! *********************** end quote ******************************************* While it may not be the answer for others I do hope this helps someone in this forum. I believe the "no hubs" is extremely important as well. As a side note, I have used and am still using a VPN for other reasons and never checked the locale. jpd
  12. NU9Band, Have you read the following post on this issue? And as a follow up to this same post, I have been performing a complete backup prior to updating firmware; both going to v1.3 & v1.3.1. I then reset to default after the update and restore from the most recent backup. My songs have come back and work as expected. I hope I just didn't jinx myself. jpd
  13. cacibi, I have four or five stems per song. My songs do not have the position indicator scrolling past the end marker. Is your end marker the triangular flag with the two red bar stop indicator? Mine is and it does not go into the "black dead zone". The scrolling indicator stops at the end marker flag for me. I wonder if other people are seeing what you are seeing and it is not being reported. jpd
  14. danmalks, For my clarification, are you saying the bypass/control feature for each individual footswitch FX block won't work for your needs? This may be a dumb question. I just want to make sure I am not misunderstanding your need. Thanks for any clarification or correction. jpd
  15. cacibi, Are you saying you cannot move the end marker? Or are you saying the dead space after the end marker is playing out when you switch to the next song. I have moved the end marker on a few songs to stop fade out and I am able to segue without any issues. Thanks for any clarification. jpd
  16. tmlambert, I am awaiting a "present" from Mesa/Gibson. It may still be a few more months in the making. Until then I am holding off on cloning my main analog rig. The above information will be of value for my first test. Thank you for the feedback. One question I have ... Do you have the ability to change microphones and/or placement & direction similar to the amp/speaker combo blocks? jpd
  17. neonjohn, Have you tried the following feature within the song library screen? Here is a link to the manual for more detail. https://manuals.line6.com/en/helix-stadium/live/the-song-screen jpd
  18. lepepzzz, If I am understanding your question here is a good place to start. Also, I create a playlist first to create the song within. https://manuals.line6.com/en/helix-stadium/live/song-view Before starting you may want to completely read the information in the above link as well as the following links ... https://manuals.line6.com/en/helix-stadium/live/the-song-screen https://manuals.line6.com/en/helix-stadium/live/performing-songs https://manuals.line6.com/en/helix-stadium/live/the-song-list https://manuals.line6.com/en/helix-stadium/live/flags https://manuals.line6.com/en/helix-stadium/live/flag-list I found, for me, that reading these links several times before starting the process AND making mistakes to learn from in the process, helped me. YMMV jpd
  19. ZenBalancer, As far as your question concerning the Helix Stadium, since the Expand D10 not here yet so nothing is for sure until it is for sure; even AI has been a little hallucinogenic with some of its answers. With respect to the OG, while it may get answered here, would be better asked in the OG Helix forum. jpd
  20. AmplifireMilano, Can you re-export the stems/wav files with these characteristics ... 44.1kHz @ 32bit? And it may seem strange but set tracks to mono. The Stadium conversion process is supposed to create the stereo tracks and adapt the characteristics to the Stadium's needs. Not sure if that is really what happens since I do not have the native code. But this is what has worked for me. jpd
  21. belfastsong, I used to have issues several years ago and decided to update my Wi-Fi network & incoming internet line. Your Wi-Fi and internet may be really solid and a non issue so ... I only use the Wi-Fi for the firmware update via the Stadium XL itself. I set the app to NOT autoconnect and make sure I am logged out of the app and Stadium XL before logging into the Stadium to update. That way I can log into the app to update the app while the Stadium XL is updating. I then wait for both to be finished. At that point I shutdown the computer then turn it back on. And I do the same for the Stadium XL. I have found with the OG Helix that creating a backup of the Stadium XL, resetting it to default once I have first restated it, then restoring the backup seems to make my pedal fairly stable with less issues than I am reading about. But that is just my experience. With the new Showcase feature I have yet to see how it affects my song library. jpd
  22. t-ario, Best feedback. I have found modelers are, well, modelers. I use IEM and trust the sound personnel. In fact, my good friend for helping live performance tone is a soundman I know who will work with me from time to time to A/B between just my modeler which was the OG Helix Floor & is now the Helix Stadium XL. He does his tone shaping via the PA. I will run the Helix Stadium XL and have him record it direct out to tape. I will then use the 4CM with one of my Mesa amps and have him record that. I do not have my Stadium out right now, however, I noticed there is a new setting in the speaker which to my ear is getting a close in the room feel/sound. I believe it is the last adjustable setting. To the point of this conversation, I have found no reason to use my amp for enclosed room venues. Outside venues I do use my amp. And again, it is up to our individual ears, styles, and taste to determine what works for us. jpd
  23. blindner, Have you opened a support ticket? If not you will need to so you can have the Line 6 support staff address this. jpd
  24. brettspahr, What tube amp are you using? jpd
