  1. On the real marshall jtm45 you can jump the normal and bright channel and gradually blend them togheter. How do you do that in the POD? Do you use the dual channel mode with the normal on one side and the bright on the other? Is this the same as jump the both channels? Thanks

    FRFR Headphones

I use Sennheiser HD-280 Pro Silver since a very long time and they still sound great with the POD.
  3. Yeah these things are so much easier on guitars that are made the old fashioned way ;-)
  4. Yes thanks I already planed to do this on the weekend - I hope it helps
  5. Hi everyone, I recently got a used Variax and I noticed that the Tone knob is loose. I tried to remove the knob but it is very hard. Has anyone done this. Do I have to open the scratchplate in order to tighten the knobs? Also the volume, tone and model knobs make noise when they are moved and there happens to be some dropouts. Maybe a cleaning will help? Any ideas? Thanks!
  6. As far as I know he used the Vox AC30 a lot but he might also be using a Hiwatt amp: http://www.hiwatt.co.uk/news/hiwatt-catches-up-with-keith-scott
  7. Thanks for this nice demo. Finally a non-metal demo of the packs.

    More Model Packs?

I already have too many amp models in my HD500 without the packs ;-). Only use 3-5 of them. But always good to have some options. I'd rather like to see a successor of the HD500(x) too
  9. I got the E-Mail too but with the picture of HD500x, so I didn't got to the website.
  10. Thanks for this. It's nice to see a non metal demo here ;-)
  11. Thanks - that's the kind of answers I was expecting ;-)
  12. Thanks for clarifying - its interesting where this tread is going from a simple question. There might be some missunderstanding.
  13. I know that the model packs for the XT had to be paid because I owned all PODs before the HD500 too. I just was saying that they could wait and put out all at ones, thats all. And as for the 500x for me isn't a real sucessor of the 500 - Just the same unit with a little more power and differnt knobs.
  14. @PaulJam and @pianoguyy Yeah so actually we should be luck about it ;-)
  15. Yeah I'm a Line 6 user since the been. It's not a big problem for me I'm waiting for others to try the model packs anyway. If there's something I like maybe I'll buy otherwise not. Still satisified with my HD500 though.
  16. I was wonderig why Line 6 puts out firmware and model packs for HD500x first and not wait until they are ready for all devices? I mean they have already planed to do so when they announced their release. So it is done on purpose.
  17. I guess when it's updated it will be on this page: http://line6.com/support/manuals/
  18. Thanks for reporting your experience. For me it is the acoustic amp and other amps in the vintage bundle that would drive me to buy the bundle, but I'll waiting some time before I buy to see how other users feel about the new amps.

    HD500 owners

I still own my HD500 and don't find any reason for an update to the HD500x. I'm using minimal setups anyway and run out of DSP very rarely. Maybe if a next generation is comming out I'll consider an update.
  20. It would be great if you could add a note that taxes may be add to the price, depending in which country you buy. There are some people complaining about it on facebook.
  21. Thanks for your reply. Yeah I was thinking about this myself. The IV and V have the stereo option but they are big - I think too big for mostly bed room playing.
  22. Thanks for your reply. I already saw those videos and the mustang sounds great indeed. Thanks for telling me your experience. I really appreciate that - maybe the mustang is the better choice than the bugera in my case
  23. Thanks for the replies. In fact I'm struggling since quite some time because I can't decide between the Mustang III and the Bugera. Maybe for home use the mustagn might be the better choice.
