Why should they public the manual for a product, that is not out yet? That doesn't make sense at all. The manual comes with the product as you buy it. There is no reason to public it before the product is out.

Get the HD500 then. I use the HD500 since it came out and had never a a problem with it. Also DSP Power only was a problem when testing out other peoples patches, but they where overloaded with effects anyway (for my taste). I'd suggest to get the HD500 if you are planning to buy soon. If you have some time to look around you might be lucky to get a HD500x for quite the same price.

On my laptop the line6 driver crashes after some time and no audio software is working until I restart the system - very annoying. It costs me a lot of time. Is there an anwser from line 6 on the ticket System?

This is wired. Why should there be any kind of limitation if I buy their stuff? 10 is not much - at least they should set it to a higher amount

Yeah, thats the only thing I even think about buying in the future. The reamping feature and phantom power ist a big + for me.

I wanted to ask the same question some time ago but didn't - so thanks for asking. For me personally what counts is the sound and the feeling when playing. From what I heard until now, it sounds pretty good, but to be honest there is nothing I can't achieve with my HD500. There might be some differences but in the End is all about EQ. Of course I can't tell how better it feels playing it at this time. So at this moment I would say that I will definatley try it out in a shop myself, but won't buy it. The price for me is much too high. Not that I couldn't afford it if I wanted but I will not spend that much for a modeling unit right now.

Right :-) I have nothing against Boss pedals. In fact I love their old analog pedals. Just like my hd500 better than bosses multieffects.

I have my HD500 from April 2012 and never had any problem. But I use it only at home - no gigging.

Hi all, there's tis guy that spams the net with his Boss Patches. Besides he want's to sell them for a ridicules price, it*s nothing wrong with that. What really pisses me off is, that he uses other companies names for selleing his boss stuff. Latley he has opened a youtube chanele called "Line 6 helix" There are videos just showing him playing the boss device. Also he has a facebook page "Line 6 POD HD500" where he posts his boss stuff. I don't know if its just me ;-) but I'm really annoyed by such things. If you agree you can help to get rid of this chanels by reporting them on youtube and facebook (claiming to be spam). I think the youtube chanel should be claimed by Line 6 itself for copyright infringement. Anyway - what do you guys think of this?

I feel pretty much the same. On the video from Audiofanzine (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kiaDF8TVlCA) it sounds so boomy - to much bass. I guess it sounds better when trying it in person but there is not much difference to my best HD500 patches - judging from the few videos available right now. But we'll see.

I too find string change is a pain with the Variax JTV-69. The first time i did it I took off all strings because I didn't know better and wanted to clean the fretboard. As it was mentioned before, changing one string at a time is much easier. I change the stings with 011s because af the better acoustic sounds. It need to be set up properly after doing this. But after that it works just fine.

I agree, the sound of the HD in the video is not the best it can be.

Yeah, Until now I heard nothing that I couldn't reproduce with my HD500 soundwise. I can get really some realistic and good tones out of the HD500. I don't think the helix is that much better tone wise. In one demo he demostrates how the amp reacts when dialing down the volume knob of the guitar. I have a Marshall 800 tone, that I use pretty often and it reacts very good to the volume knob of the guitar. Can't tell how different the feeling is. I will certainly try one in person when it comes but but probably won't buy soon.

Thanks for the link. All videos I saw until now, where only much talking and less playing. That makes me think that it has not much more to offer soundwise as the POD? Hopefully I'm wrong.

Yeah - I agree 100% - around 700 - 750$ that would be an appropriate pice. Hopefully street price will be much less as indicated now.

It should be possible. Just export the bundle from the HD Pro and rename it or convert it using the POD HD Converter. Then import the Bundle in the HD PRO X

I agree - tested the whole packe as the 30% discount appears. Still had to pay over 80€ here. I tested all the amps and find there is not much that is in the quality of "HD". I liked the new Vox and the acoustic amp in the vintage pack and the marshall in the metall pack but again it is not worth for two amps to buy the pack. I found the metal pack to be the worst in the pack. But this is just my opinion - I had the change to test them out and didn't like what I got so I gave it back. It's fin as it is.

I opend a ticket two days ago and today they changed the status to "escalated" - what ever that means. No further answer was given. I wanted to give back the whole bundle and then purchase only the vintage - but now I'll give it all back. There are only 2-3 amps that seems to work for my needs and that is not worth the price. Hopefully they solve the issue with the return soon

I just tried to give back the model packs, because I only wanted to keep the vintage. Deauthorized all devices and wanted to give back the packs but always get the Error 8211. Don't know what it means
