I'd be interested in someone doing a comparison between the 5150 on an HD500X and the same on the Helix. Or amp X on a pod and amp Y on the Helix. And by same, I'm mean listing all settings used for each device, and most important, using the same cab and mic. I realize this likely won't happen, at least not until it's actually released. Although these videos popping up so far are nice, and appreciated, they are frankly kind of useless. Their main purpose seems to be showing off how easy the device is to tweak and that it looks pretty. And maybe some of the more advanced features, and their ease of use, might be displayed. Other than the looking pretty, this is stuff that reading the manual, when released, would do just as well. I've noticed on this forum and at least on TGP, the effect list that was posted by DI, was retracted. This gives me hope that they are working on filling out some conspicuous holes in that list.

I would guess that it's nothing more than a patch that contains a way to do something with the Helix.

Maybe they are trying to claim the Helix is a natural phenomenon, like the Fibonacci sequence of numbers, or logarithmic spiral.

I don't know for sure, but you could always do what some do now with the pods, which is have the wah mix parameter low enough and assigned to the expression pedal min so that when it's in the heel position the wah is essentially shut off.

I was going to ask you what the political system is like in Hell. Is there a hierarchy and do you get to torture souls that disobey you? Or are your minions more of mindless, autonomic creatures? No. No USB problems for me. I am super extra careful with those, because I know they are fragile. Stupid me, I thought I busted it once by not looking where I plugged it in and my computer didn't recognize it. Turns out it fits in the L6 Link. Stupid. LOL. Getting rid of at least one of my units to scrounge up some money for Helix, although the lacking effects list has me questioning this.

Thanks for the reply. So if I want to sell one unit, it'll have to be without the model packs. I guess that makes the most sense. This license stuff can get kind of confusing.

Does anyone know what happens when you sell one pod with all the packs, but keep another pod with all the packs? Would I get to keep the packs on the pod I keep? The packs were purchased once and put on two devices.

Good suggestion. At least until I can duplicate, or make better, what I made on the 500X.

I hope this list grows quickly, preferably before launch. It's missing a few things. Like a reverse delay, auto volume, auto wah (tron up/down), seems lacking in phasers, panner (not pan control), lacking in filters (unless the two listed can do a lot). Is there a dimension chorus in there?
