The L2M is being used for FOH in this scenario and was working this with no monitor. Eventually we will add monitors but we simply ran and listened through the FOH speakers. The L2M was connected via Main Left out of the mixer with another speaker Main Right, so I dont think Phatom power is in play.

I’m having unexpected results from a ‘live’ setup. I’ve been playing Helix direct to sound boards and loving the simplicity. And those sound boards and sound men making it happen have been great but, mostly it has been pretty close to plug and play. My setup at home: Helix ->L6 cable or XLR->L2M Current band needed a mixer so the setup is: Helix->XLR->Behringer X-air XR16->L2M (pole mounted). Behringer has no EQ, simply defined input channels, we all plugged in, balanced and played. All my tones seems incredibly tinny. To the point where I switched from Bridge pickup to Neck pickup to adjust and, while it made a small adjustment, not that much. I realize the X-air has EQ of course but I naively thought it would simply pass through the signal. Is this expected behavior? Am I over looking something? I expect to tweak the setup depending on venue of course but this was in the practice basement. Thanks in advance for any advice,

Greetings, Setup context: PC->Helix LT->Behringer X-Air XR16->L2M I play iTunes from PC into my LT and play along with the songs, via USB. My output is XLR to the mixer. Is there a way to have the USB output through a different output channel from the guitar? Maybe my Line 6 proprietary cable? 1/4 out? Ultimately I want to record just my playing while playing along with the song but cannot do that with the output mixed. No DAW software on PC. Thanks for any ideas. I couldn’t find a global setting that made sense to me to do this.

I’m chasing an artist tone and a CAE 3+ preamp is used amongst others. Has anyone attempted to replicate this? I did not see anything for Helix in CustomTone and a search of the forum comes up with some WAH and mixer threads. I’m guessing the closest I would get is to replicate the three channels as separate amps. Thanks for any ideas or inputs.

I’ve come upon similar features in technology. Some notes (metadata) would be great. MAybe even some tags. Just to help search and find different objects. (Yes, that would require a search :) ). It can be hard to keep track of all the places I’ve used a block. Once I find parameter changes I like, it would be great to implement it in other places. Which leads to my one change request. Add a folder under ‘templates’ titled ‘blocks’. In it have a single instance of every block (within each category) and allow me to declare the initial parameter settings. Line 6 settings are great but once we watch find what we like in many blocks, everything works as it does today but it takes MY values from these blocks instead of their defaults. Just a thought.

Splitting them provides the flexibility to choose the cab models. I find it useful to choose various combinations such as 1 1x12 mixed in with a 4x12. With various mic setups I dial in the tone by sliding the A/B balance toward of of the two cabs.

Check out page 13of the manual for more info. It is 60 seconds Mono, 30 seconds Stereo at full speed.

I noticed random disconnects when I plug into a USB 3 port. When plugged into my USB 2 port, no connection issues.

Hi Folks, I don't have much depth with Marshalls and have read through some threads (too many, IRs, etc.). I'd like to copy a sound which leverages the Silver Jubilee and there are no shortage of Marshall choices. Using stock amp and cabs, what will get me closest to start? Thanks in advance.

I’ve encountered this error also - and only in User 4. Copy and pasting blocks gave the error a few times. Copied within a preset and across presets and r3ceived the error. Badly formatted object, I received the error on various blocks so not specific to a specific effect or class of effects that I found. I save everything and copied duplicates presets and copied and pasted blocks from the duplicate but didn’t find a pattern. I tested the same thing I only wish I could figure how it worked sometimes. Not sure if it was when I powered off or not although I think that may have been it. I tried the same blocks in User 2 and 5 and did not receive their error. And I haven’t received it since. I’m sorry I am not providing better feedback but wanted to kick in that I also encountered the error on my LT.

Hi Folks, I've an LT hooked up to an L2M and connected to a Windows Laptop (10) via USB. I use the looper to record a segment and later in the song playback once. I recorded it while playing along with the music, playing via iTunes. All good. Playing with no music the looper playback is fine. Playing with music the looper playback is slow. Must be hitting a processor ceiling somewhere. Anyone experience this and, if so, know a solution?

PLEASE DISREGARD THE REQUEST FOR VALUES. I SIMPLY MISSED IT IN THE MANUAL. If anyone has an idea for a solution to the challenge, that would be awesome.
