  1. J7VwH... Its got that "moan & Groan Tone"... B)
  2. I don't have a Bose setup so I can't say for sure, but I would think the guitar tones from a CLR would be better "Helix" wise, than from a Bose PA. Like I said, this is speculation and I'm only going by what each is specifically made for.
  3. This is a Quality Control feature, reminding you that absence makes the fart go honda... That said, add a tiny bit of Carmex on the squeaky parts.
  4. Could have been the dynamics of the room itself?
  5. When you find that faith-based company ( you know, the one that makes new products to sell in order to make a profit), ask them what doesn't lose value once its no longer new, cause I want 3 of um...
  6. For me, even when using my 1960a cab (it's stereo too) when all sound is coming from one box there is no stereo field or separation to speak of. Same for the Firehawk 1500. That's not to say it doesn't sound wonderful cause it does.
  7. I'm using a Firehawk 1500, monitor ins from Helix's L&R Main outs and it sounds great for me. As far added pedals I only use a Bogner La Grange for my Plexi tones, and an MDV2 Univibe. I also use a Grandmeister Deluxe 40 on one of Helix's aux ports and run that thru a cab with some old V-30s I installed a decade or so ago. The FH1500 is about the same price as a CLR, but has the added backup amp and tone's inside it should you ever need it. But either one would sound great with Helix. There is another "new" FRFR you might look at that is highly praised- HERE...
  8. Heyyy I know one of those fella's ! ;)
  9. Do what you wish, but don't think for a minute those used springs on the bottom of your feet helping you jump out are worth what you paid for them new... Welcome to reality.
  10. Ok enuff about you, what abt me? :P
  11. Well fudge!! I'm gonna have to pass till next year cause just bought & paid for my 1st Jem with all my rat hole money.
  12. Just looked at this... At first, I thought it was another IR. I have a feeling this will be back ordered for some time.
  13. You beat me to it... Exactly what I thought as well.
  14. I figure Helix snake oil is next... You can polish your guitar with it, or drink it for what Ails ya...
  15. Since you don't understand my point I'll type slower... KIDDING... I'm saying only this, that using a regular PC output (or cheap audio Interface) into the same quality studio speaker with Helix Native, won't sound as good as using Helix itself into that same studio speaker, no matter the how good the "algorithm" (errrm software) is inside of Helix Native. Why? Because just as DI said, "Very few audio interfaces have Helix's level of A/D conversion and op amps and almost none have its 123dB of dynamic range." In other words, the freekin hardware (A to D chips) is better quality so it Duh, sounds better... Chase @ Fractal said the same many moons ago about the Axe FX, and he was also correct. And I think that is and will be the major gripe out there once Native gets released. Why can't my Sony Walkman and Native sound like Helix does!!!???!!!
  16. Got the GrandMeister deluxe 40 in yesterday eve and spent some hookup time with it and the WMI-1 wireless interface. I had issues at first, but once I shut down Lil Snitch it connected right up wirelessly with my router and iPad editor! So I can now run the H&K editor on my iPad, and the Helix editor on the Mac... I hooked it up 4 cable method with Helix thru (FX Loop) aux 2 and set up a patch in Helix also using aux 1 (for the Bogner Lagrange pedal) and aux 2 ( for the GM-40). So now I can add wah, compression, and distortions when wanted in front, and reverbs & delays in the back. It (GM-40 Deluxe) screams and moans for days on end! Don't let them tell u the GM-40 is a metal amp only. Oh it can, but does a lot more esp. Thru Helix! And...., when I change the patch used for the GM-40 (for just Helix tones only) the FX loop is bypassed and Helix is now back on its own. Best of both worlds!
  17. Very nice setup bsd!
  18. Yea but that's not what he meant and you know it... ;) BTW- is that a HAM call sign? If so, then nice to meet ya and .... .. De AA5ZX.
  19. 767 MPH divided by 60 minutes = 12.78, divided again by 60 seconds is indeed .21305 miles per second...
  20. This IS a hand of color... It's not invisible is it? ;)
  21. Sorry other than some weird static discharge or some grounding or cold solder joint somewhere, I just don't know then. Try disabling blocks in the preset itself maybe and see if it changes?
  22. Hey maybe thats why some of todays music..... errr, nevermind.
