I know you said k10, so YMMV but I just could not get the K12 to sound right with my AXE FX II back then. Went Atomic CLR then and was happier.

Mine took IIRC around 2 hours to complete. I just walked away and checked on it from time to time.

FYI-Jet City !00HDM on for half price again for the next 11 hours or so...

El Capitan had a ruff start yes, but things were fixed and I have no issues with it now using Logic X, Cubase 8.5, or PT 12.x when I was running it. So I figure Sierra will be the same way within a few weeks/months.

Yes Phil, tuning stability would be something inherent to the guitar if their was something wrong with the guitar. The same thing is also true of a tuner...

Better DT integration in Helix would raise the asking prices of those DT amps overnight on Ebay, and might actually get Line 6 amp assy lines busy again in the factory. :P

Soon as they fix the AU plugins with Sierra I'll upgrade. Thanks DI for that tidbit.

From what Ive read here (no on hands) the L2m/t are flat referenced (as well as being switchable to other settings too) and would work great with Helix and the studio, as studio monitors.

Tuner for my Editor...

Any compatibility issues with the Heilx Editor and this new OS update guys?

The freeze ups that happen in no way tell just how many can do with or without an editor. That's two different topics unrelated to one another. I dislike bills but it doesn't mean I won't get them in the mail... I've noticed that sometimes on power up, my mission pedals cause Helix to not be able to save a edited marked patch. Once I move the pedal after startup, then all is well. That got me to thinking.. Just grabbing at straws here, but I'm wondering if there is a memory/buffer leak of sorts, causing Helix to randomly freeze? Caused by small things like a mission pedal causing Helix to get data full by a percentage rocking back and forth a jillion times?

There may be unforeseen reasons as to why the tuner doesn't take priority..., like say new amps cabs an more effects the Line 6 devs "may be" working on at the moment. Pure speculation but I'm betting this holiday season may be a big one for Line 6. Maybe the biggest in several years, and so they are stacking the deck in preparing a surprise that we will all like come November, but might not include for right now, a better tuner. Pipe Dream? Maybe, maybe not...

When I played in the pubs every break before a set the guitar would cool off, and be a bit out of tune. After the 1st song it would be ok for another 45 minutes or so. I think that's (dare I say it) normal. AS far as the tuner, I'd still like to see one implemented like what Kemper has. This ones usable, but I much prefer the one on the KPA.

I may mess with that Tweed Bassman some time this week then, thanks! I may at some point get that amp plugin for the UaD Apollo, but I'd rather find it on Helix first.

Well, id say thats too long. since you are importing whatever didnt go in can be over written so I would just switch Helix off and see what it imported. Next time do one at a time till u figure out what happened. Of course thats all if I was using "my" Helix. You do what you will with yours. ;)

Why not aux in left and right and then just use a dummy plug for the guitar in jack? Wouldn't that work guys? It does on my Vetta amp...

I thought Id post this. This is a series~parallel 2 humbucker diagram using the Fender S-1 4PDT switch. I could not find a diagram using a single Fender S-1 switch (and volume ctrl) with 2 HB's on line, so I made this one. It should work on guitars with DiMarzio pups (Or SD's but remember to swap the red and black leads in that case). Hope this helps!

Collection of User Programming Tips to improve presets and tones...
spikey replied to WickedFinger's topic in Helix
On the Celestion site it says the freq response of a "Vintage 30" speaker is from 70 - 5000 Hz. The "12" G12H-75 Creamback is the same. Im thinking that while the lows you have may be ok, the high side is a bit much. Id set the high cut to around 8K just for %$#@* and giggles... And you say?- 60 replies
