I'm not aware of any way to do that in Stadium. But I'm curious - why would you want that? Seems to me that having a continuous display of the tempo isn't very useful.

Your EDIT2 suggests that the POD Farm 2.5 Plug-in files are not being scanned by your DAW on startup. Make sure the directory to which your files were installed are included in the scanned directories specified in your DAW.

It’s possible that this is a design decision rather than a bug. Remember that the only version of the actual preset is the one that exists in the USER setlist. A custom setlist contains only an alias to the actual preset. Hence when you edit and Save a preset, even if it’s done from a custom setlist context, you are actually working in the USER setlist. Perhaps leaving you there after the Save operation is intended to be an explicit indication of what you’re doing. But the response to a support ticket will clarify.

I think that’s simply not true. I understand that there will be full Variax control from Stadium presets as there is with Helix. What is the source of your information?

You may have found a bug. Open a support ticket to report it. Before doing so, try other amps and FX to see if it’s unique to this amp or is a more general issue.

Is your Helix connected to your computer via USB when this is happening? If so try disconnecting it. If the problem is USB related, try turning down your computer volume.

You need to open a support ticket to officially report a bug. That way it will definitely be seen by Line 6 developers. This is a user support forum and Line 6 staff don’t generally hang out here.

When I get disconnected I do the following things that often work: 1) When disconnected I usually see a screen that has two connection options: AutoConnect and Connect. I select Connect and then on the next page I hover my mouse over the WAN/LAN network icon with the words Helix Stadium. A connect button appears to the right of it. I select that. 2) If that repeatedly fails I restart the Helix Stadium app. If this is happening frequently open a support ticket. I too would like to see a tethered USB-C option.

Note that the system Backup/Restore capability might be useful here. You could use multiple backup files to keep your Band 1 and Band 2 USER presets, custom Setlists, and Song data discrete and separate, perhaps but not necessarily on different SD cards. You would need to manage your own association of automatically generated backup filenames and SD cards to different contexts.

So perhaps the simplest answer to the original question of this thread is: Any amp in the Legacy category has its Agoura model in the Guitar category.

That’s expected, I think. The Legacy category includes all and only HX amps that have been Agoura-fied . You’ll find the non-Agoura-fied amps in the Guitar Amps category.

Make sure you are aware of the Snapshot Discard Edits On/Off settings, and its potential role in what you may be considering a bug. It’s possible that the edits you think are not being honoured are in fact following your instruction to discard them.

It’s temporary and discarded when the device is powered off.

Thanks. I had missed that. So it seems there are no older (pre-HX) amp models at all in Stadium.

Please open a support ticket to ‘officially’ report this bug to Line 6 developers. Otherwise they will likely never see this. This thread was established when the Helix product was released many years ago and has now grown to 108 pages. I think its demise is appropriate now and that it should not be extended to the Helix Stadium products.

That might be accurate but I’m not sure. As I understand it the Legacy Amp subcategory includes amp models of previous generations of Line 6 modeling such as POD HD500, or POD XT/X3. fyi…..The raw ability to do this already exists on the device in the form of the Looper. And there are already requests to use the Looper both to create new Showcase Songs (different track for each overdub) and to create USER Preset Clips (no overdubs). I’m hoping both these requests will be implemented soon but we’ll see. Firstly, the official way to make feature requests is to use the Product Feedback form. Look for the “LINE 6 PRODUCT FEEDBACK” link on the bottom left of the Line6.com home page. Secondly, the Variax product line now comes under the ownership of Yamaha as part of the takeover of Line 6 several years ago. Development of several previous Line 6 product lines that competed directly with Yamaha, including Variax and StageSource/Stagescape, were halted at that time. It is unlikely that Variax as a Line 6 brand will ever be seen again. But who knows?

Yes, the USER setlist contains the single copy of the actual preset. Same with the Factory presets except they can’t be deleted. A custom setlist contains pointers to specific presets (aliases) not a copy of the preset.

Not a sucker at all. Just a consumer who chooses to purchase a product because it offers value to them. I too will get a D-10. Perhaps not a good analogy, but what about ‘all inclusive’ vacations? Alcohol drinkers love the fact that abstainers subsidize their drinking. Abstainers often avoid these packages for that reason. Maybe some day the packages will exclude alcohol (still available ant additional cost) and the price for the package will drop. Drinkers will still pay to drink. (I’m not calling us alcoholics!).
