Roadrunner used to make pedalboard/soft case combo that would unzip (so it would expose the input panel on whatever was in there). That one might work but check the dimensions vs the L6 bag. The L6 Bag is a snug fit.

The HD might be clipping. Put input2 to something other than same. Edit: not really clipping per se but the"same" setting boosts the gain/signal just to be clear.

Different models in the HD that don't cross over to PF.

8 tracks were better - jumping to a track by pushing a button was sweet - in the 70s btw (and so was Betamax) :)

Tell that to the auto companies and every software company too. IMO pressing the "save" button is not a biggie.

As you are no longer using the Pod as the interface there should be no recorded track playing through it. If the recorded sound is too loud either turn down the channel vol on the pod, the DAW or possibly the interface.

You should look into a HD it has a lot of room multiple setlists, banks and presets per. IDK about the Helix as I don't have one.

You know I came to this realization a few years back and it was quite liberating. Doing a two band shuffle required two set lists as one was a cover band and one an original. Like Cruisin' sez 4-5 was all I eventually boiled things down too (and a coil tap helped with the rest). Most patch work done is for my own S&Gs and if one is a standout I will chug it into the modeler and let her rip at practice to see how it fits in the mix. It was madness trying the patch per song route but a fun learning experience nonetheless. :)

Ampeg = great stuff! I was using a V4B head for guitar for a bit - aside from tone - it is packed with weight and volume. :)

IIRC you need to choose the software for your operating system. You might have DL'D the wrong version of whatever mystery file you were trying to install.

I would fire up the L6 Edit for it and see if the patches have the volume/exp set. You are not alone I had a few WTF moments until I realized either the panning in the mixer was hard set or the vol/exp pedal wasn't assigned and the amp's channel was set to damn near zero. :) At least there is sound out of some patches so you know the unit is probably functioning correctly.

I still use XP on a spare PC myself it runs smooth and uses all the old software. :) I would uninstall all the drivers and try again, then a different usb cable.

It is the best thing to do BUT for the $ you might and to look at scoring another used one. The "no sound" when warmed up can mean a component went bad or something needs to be re-soldered (my guess). Mere humans will have a tough time if it is a chip's solder point or a hairline crack in a trace.

Dude instead of carpet bombing the forum with your problem you need to keep hammering at L6 via a Support Ticket. L6 is here when they can but it is hit or miss.
