I've scoured the manual and noted the various MIDI settings, but I can't see a way of scrolling up/down through presets via MIDI... Am I missing something? I'm running a GigRig G3 and it would be great to be able to assign a footswitch to "preset up/down"

I just picked up an HX One and would like to use it on my pedal board powered by a Gator G-Bus-8 power supply. It seems to power up and work fine. However my concern is the HX One power says 9v/500mA whereas the G-Bus-8 says .25A (250mA); half the current. Could there be any adverse effects in running it like this?

Hey. I am looking to purchase a new HX one for my board and looking to use it pre drive for tuner, compressor univibe etc but also post drive for wet effects. I will be running this into the from to my fender deluxe reverb so no effect loop.looking for advice to see whether I can I use the input/output before my physical drive pedals and input/output 2 for wet effects after my physical drive pedals? Hope this makes sense? Essentially the pedal is in two place in chain in front of amp. Any help appreciated. Thanks Will

If this is the wrong place for this, please let me know where I should be looking. A search came up empty. I just started playing around with my HX One and using Librarian I notices that some effects are not listed within it (for example Bronze Master). How do I get this to appear so I can place it next to other frequently used effects? Thanks in advance.

I have a HOTONE Ampero Control Sending MIDI to a Timefactor and then THRU to my HX One. Currently PC messages and some CC messages are working fine, but I cannot get it to respond to CC64-127 (tap tempo) or CC93-127 (enter tap tempo). I have tried everything I can think of... MIDI Clock RX off, on, auto. (When set to on or auto, MIDI clock is working fine -- Clock coming from Timefactor) As I said above, other CC messages are working fine, but can't get anything related to tap to work properly. Wondering if this might be a bug. I am on software 3.71.0

I'm trying to power my HX one with my Joyo 2 power bank but it only briefly powers on before turning back off again. Any ideas why? Or any recommendations for a new power bank that will work! Thanks!

Hello, do presets always have a master level control, even presets for effects modeled after a pedal that does not have one originally (e.g. the MXR Phase 90) ? I can’t figure this out by reading the manual and not found in the FAQ. Thank you.

Hi Folks, I got my HX One today and hooked it up for a first test in exactly that way: Synth -> HX One -> Mixer Synth is connected in stereo, inputs and outputs on the HX One are set to line level, I/O config to stereo. When playing a mono sound on the synth thru the HX the left channel of the try signal coming to the mixer is about 6dB quieter than the right channel. This is also the case when bypassing the effect with bypass type ‘DSP’. The full wet signal seems to be ok. When connecting the synth directly to the mixer or switch to bypass with type set to ‘true’, both channels have the same level in the mixer. Maybe I did something wrong with the setup, but it seems to be ok for me. Can someone please check that on your HX One, just to be save that mine isn’t broken somehow. Thanks, and best wishes from Austria, Oliver

1. Download and install our update application utility called Line 6 Central. You'll be able to find the download here on our downloads page: https://line6.com/software/. 2. Once you have that installed, you'll need to boot up the HX One in update mode. Do this by pressing and holding down the LEFT arrow while powering on the HX One. You may not see any screen, only a blank screen when it's in this update mode (The HX One should go into update mode in any case where the update fails on it's own. Holding down the left arrow will just force it to go into this state manually). 3. Connect the HX One to your computer with a USB-C cable. Make sure its connected directly to your computer. No hubs or secondary connections. If you're on a desktop computer, connect it to the back of the machine near the power cable. Be sure to disconnect any MIDI cables during this process (If MIDI clock is sent to the HX One during the update process, the update may not complete. Disconnecting MIDI cables prevents this from happening with third-party devices). 4. Once you launch Line 6 Central, it will ask you if you want to identify the unknown device. Click "Identify", then you should see a list of devices on your screen. Select "HX One". Be sure to login with your Line 6 Username, and then select "Perform Update" for the latest version. This should allow the update to install 100%, and it will display "Update Successful" on the screen. 5. Once the update is installed, you may need to power cycle the HX One, by disconnecting the power cable, and re-connecting. If the update was installed properly, the HX One will boot normally showing the update version on the LCD screen.
