duncann
I wouldn't be surprised if somethings shows up, at least as an announcement, this summer.
Akeron
I got one of my ideas "in review" 10 months ago and it's still in that state. I wouldn't loose sleep waiting
RipperShred
I would personally love a next-gen HD device. I say bring it on!
pianoguyy
think about it... we are at the point of --- if you want to keep getting new features on your pod, you have to pay for them. Which means you either spend money on an old outdated unit, or you buy the new stuff which have stuff that your old one didn't. Much like cars. Keep putting parts on it, or just buy a new one. Me, I don't care what or when they come out with something. My unit works. If it wasn't what I needed, I wouldn't have bought it. I intend on keeping it until it breaks. And since I had my last setup for 20+ years ago, I have the track record to back it up. *plus, I try not supporting Yamaha Corporation whenever possible. Moderato
After seeing what they've done with the Amplifi series I can't wait to see what the next POD is going to be like.
Palico
Depends on what it would have to offer over the current. If it offers enough stuff I want them I'm in.

To the ones who know what they want
Kopfschmerzen
I would personally love a next-gen HD device. I say bring it on! Yeah, that would be interesting... I find it curious, though, that people are happy that they added outdated, non-HD models. To me that means those models are good enough and I don't see much room for future improvement in sound. We are entering a new era when Line 6 concentrate on ease of use, rather then authenticity of sound. To me it's a good thing.
TheRealZap
you do know that the non HD amps that were included in those model packs were by request via ideascale.... that and it took quite a bit of work and testing to port them over.... not to mention a handful of low DSP use amps are GREAT if you want to experiment with dual amps without giving up the rest of your chain. furthermore... the vast majority of those ported over... were line 6 originals and not accurate models of anything.... and... those older models were never paired with M-series effects/cabs etc... just saying.... the sound quality does not stop and end with the origins of the model... i personally applaud their inclusion... options! Yeah, that would be interesting... I find it curious, though, that people are happy that they added outdated, non-HD models. Sure. After releasing Amplifi, firehawk and POD update with model packs it's time to update M-series ;)
