chasingMango, You should ask this question in the Stadium forum. There was a YouTube video post-presentation or possibly at NAMM which had a brief "blip on the radar" about possible improvements based upon internal ideas and customer requests.

I had this problem however I did not perform a reset to default. Also, even when no sound was coming out the meters did register audio. Hopefully my next statement would come back to haunt me. So far I still have audio working fine. I first create a playlist then import the stems into the song I create within the playlist. I use individual stems @ 44.1 kHz exported from Reaper after importing and setting as mono individual tracks. Stadium converts the files into stereo and whatever the rate is it needs for me (which I do not know off hand). I did have to careful with flags. The first time I had a couple on top of each other and thought I was loosing my mind. jpd

ReverendLove, Thanks. I agree that it needs to be removed for now to follow what I did. I had to remove all the Line 6 apps, and I mean ALL Line 6 apps except Helix native and the Helix Native uninstaller. I even had to figure out which Helix HX Edit, POD, Monkey, and Line6Central apps & uninstaller(s) to remove first and then go through the tedious task of removing every annoying previous version of the multiple Line 6 uninstallers as well as all drivers related to Line 6. Though the uninstall process didn't say to reboot, I rebooted every time I uninstalled an app, driver, etc. That is a nervous habit from my R&D days. Once I finalized everything and ran the dism & sfc utilities three times, rebooting each timer, (did I say I'm neurotic?) I used the show hidden devices feature in Device Manager. I didn't have anything related to Line 6. I then installed the latest Stadium App and everything worked as I stated and showed in previous mentions and pictures in my replies within this thread. I do not have any unknown devices; no Helix Stadium Bulk Transfer. I do not plug in the USB-C device while using the Stadium App. The USB-C is separately used for DAW only. That is my findings so far. Hope your system will work as you need at some point. jpd

ReverendLove, Do you still have Line6Central installed? I believe you do but I do not remember if I specifically asked you and just assumed from your previous statements it is still installed. If not I do not recommend installing it now. If you do, please let me know. jpd

Mystic368, I agree it is a drag that the reverend's needs are still successfully addressed. I started with punch card Fortran programming in 1969 then dabbled in COBOL (though I see some blogs spelling it Cobalt for some reason), MASM, and other low level & then high level languages. I was even fortunate enough to correspond with Mr. Torvalds during the Linux Slackware 1.0 era. For now I use the USB-C for my DAW only since Line 6 hasn't disclosed any specific path for using it other than firmware updates if necessary. I do not have the same issue others are posting about. My Wi-Fi has been very stable with the exception of a router arp table clear I preformed to clean up some things and brought my Wi-Fi environment back to peak performance. I do know that I did a complete and deep dive removal of all OG Helix drivers, applications, and uninstall programs. I did find that there were several versions in parallel that Windoze (my way of spelling the OS) hadn't properly cleaned up. Why I do not have the issue is frustrating for me because I would be able to have some fun performing stepwise analysis and possible solutions. I hate feeling unable to benefit others when I can. Hopefully this will be solved at some point as it is not unique to the reverend. jpd

maxnew40, So the good news would be, though not as good as being integrated, that shipment for pre-orders are about 6 to 7 weeks out. I know my ship to doorstep for my Stadium took only about 4 business days. And a friend of mine had his rep place expedite which set his ship to delivery at only 2 days. I do hope you will be able to use your variax(s) soon! jpd

jpdesroc, I do understand your desire to use the Line 6 product with your vintage Fender amp. I will offer my thoughts though the decision is based upon an assumption. Based upon the year series (for now 1960s or 1970s based upon collector sites) of your amp having the FX loop mod done will devalue your collectable value by several tens to several hundreds or more dollars of value. I have read the cost of the mod using a highly qualified tube amp specialist technician would be parts + labor @ a few hundred US dollars. But the labor is based upon the techs rate more than the "approximate" most blogs state. The option would be to purchase something similar to the "Fryette PS-2A Power Station Integrated Reactance Amp v2" which has a fx loop and a highly adjustable soak. Was have read there are lower cost choice to the Fryette but I have not found any with a simple search; you may. One other option is to get a FRFR stage speaker (I actually only use the IEM system for myself or the stage full back monitor system provided to me) and use the new Agoura fender deluxe amp(s) within the Stadium. I know this isn't your desire, however, I have discovered for small venues this works great and I can us my Mesa JP-2C or Mesa V:35 with a midi interface for mid size outside to large outside venues if I want. Though I must admit since the mark IIC+ model was added I have yet to use my guitar amplifiers lately. Or stick with your setup for now. As always, it is your choice. jpd

Gavin3554, It is weird. Correct timezone & date/time was my main "first check" when the Microsoft server farms and VMWare virtual hosts I managed would either lag badly or go off line completely. Got to love technology that is supposed to help us worry less by worrying more about the "why's this happening" moments. ;-) jpd

airguitargb, Never fear. You will not just figure it out, you will have fun with the unlimited ways the Helix can open your mind. Also, I can't believe I am a few months away from being 76 years old. I started the path to the Helix about 10 years ago and have not looked back. I did just trade up but that discussion is for another time. There is a person by the name of Jason who is one of many Helix tutorial "kings" on youtube. You can start by listening to the default presets that come with the Helix. Many are named "similar" to the songs they represent. I found that a decent 250k ohm open back headphone set like the beyerdynamic dt990 works well for in room testing for tone and sound level. datacommando is correct hat you will need to work with the sound person for your playback system. I would continually work with our soundman at least once a month when possible. Anyway, here is Jason's Line 6 KB page and also his youtube channel. And as you search you will find more tutorial videos. boynigel, Have you opened a ticket and then kept it open? What you can do if you have opened one and it has been closed is to continually add info which will reopen it until you get a final word as to what Line 6 tech is doing concerning updates or fixes. If you haven't opened one you can open one now and follow the previous suggestion to get some final resolve. jpd

maxnew40, If the click track is independent of the other tracks just use the matrix feature to set the click track to zero volume in the XLR output and/or 1/4 output. You can leave it up in the headphones if you're using those for the IEMs. jpd

All, Here is what I just posted within my ticket on this issue. I did not proceed with a reset to factory default. ____________________________________________________________ ticket info ______________________________________________________________________ I was able to remove it in the application and it removed it from the device. I did wait about 10 minutes doing other things before checking the device for the song file to be deleted. But that worked, at least it appears to work. This time I created a setlist then imported the stem files into the setlist. After that I added flags for snapshot changes using two separate presets. After a day I changed out the flags to use only one of the presets. I have been creating presets, powering it off and on, and I even took it to church this past Sunday. I did not use Showcase but I did have it unplugged since Sunday. I turned it on today, selected the preset first, and then started the backing tracks. Everything is working as expected and I have sound. Next, as a test, I booted into the maintenance mode and preformed a backup. I then booted back into preset/play mode and Showcase is still working as expected. So, not sure what I did right or wrong. But those are my methodology and findings so far. ____________________________________________________________ ticket info ______________________________________________________________________ Either this is bug or the instructions may not be clear or complete yet. I have not closed my ticket and am still requesting they determine the issue so we DO NOT have to keep resetting to factory default. jpd

mdmayfield, Since this is a user based forum, this is a great opportunity to do this for us and report back your findings? From a theoretical aspect, as long as the wi-fi subnet of the linux box is the same and the Helix Stadium (XL or non XL) it sounds logical. You'd still have to configure the TCP/IP protocol within Wine for the subnet, I understand. But then, you could always use "Linux Bottles" as your GUI driven interface instead. jpd

karimkamel, Currently the only way to set the output to S/PDIF is individually unless you setup a template with the S/PDIF as the output. Then you just use the template as the start for all your presets. One other way is to copy the S/PDIF output from one preset then paste it and save it as output into each of the current setlists you're wanting to use. It is slightly faster than changing the output for each preset manually then saving. Of course it is not ideal for your situation. But those are two suggstions I can offer at this time. jpd

bbehrens, The D-10 is available for advance order and estimated to ship April 2026 via Sweetwater. Go to 13:16 in this youtube video and watch the whole short strip about Line 6. You will see the D-10. There is chatter on one of the vlogs about PROXY being in the next firmware release. But nothing solid I can find yet. Someone else in this forum may have better information. jpd

theElevators, DeoxIT D5 is my go to for the exact reason you stated. And I use it for those nasty "I'll replace my potentiometers after this weeks last gig" moments. I have special order cables and two sets on backup, jpd dwball, Have you tested this at your home or practice studio for grins and giggles to check on a known good power circuit? If so, follow rd2rk's suggestion if this keeps up. I can't remember the component but it will act like a leaking capacitor and give you grief similar to your symptoms. Or it is the power board in the unit (PSU) which does have capacitors. (https://www.digikey.com then put in the part number ECS65US12) I am sure you've already backed up your setlists and did a factory reset then restored from backup. Last question from me, which is probably a YES from you, are you on the latest firmware and HX Edit? Anyway, it can be a real head scratcher. Good luck, jpd

PaulTBaker, Interesting question. It would be nice. While you could do many things from the PC side, it is very doubtful the Helix Stadium would actually see the songs on demand. The reason the Stadium needs to format any SD Card you want to use is that it creates two very specific partitions on the SD Card, like having a C: and D: set of drives setup on a single hard drive. Then it creates the folders and assigns specific read/write properties. And you question makes me wonder, does the Showcase feature compress the files when added within the Stadium App? That would add one more piece to the puzzle. I will have to slow down my thinking because I am a "hmm, lets try it and see" kind of guy and that has gotten me into trouble a few times. :-) I have a question concerning the looperDAT.dat file and I will ask this question once i get one more response from tech support. jpd
