  1. Did it. Same result. When Computer is offline (WLAN Stick disconnected), it behaves like ' not initialized '. As soon as the internet connection is established, it all works fine.
  2. Helix Native Plugin is authorized. I Can replicate this behaviour: Online: Everything's fine ('You have a valid Helix Native license that does not expire') Offline: Message in orange letters ' Failed to connect to DSP engine (Unknown communication error '
  3. I paid for - but only when I go offline, Native complains (can't connect to DSP)...
  4. First impression: No probs (installation, authorizing, integration in DAW) Is it right, that Helix has to be connected contantly to the internet (copy protection)?
  5. Hi, plumber, welcome to this forum! No problems Strymon pedals here. Double check (patch) cables, in/output volumes... Try to place the effect loop at another position in the path... Adjust send /return levels (manual, p. 30)...
  6. Helix Native: Here ya go http://line6.com/support/forum/90-helix-native/
  7. So, if you want try something, then use (oil free) compressed air. Almost every rotary sliding potentiometer is an expendable part, because it loses smallest amounts of the resistive element (material)... Avoid using any fluid stuff at all costs.

  10. You're welcome. Did I have to mention, that I tried it with all my instruments (JTV, electric guitars, basses, ukuleles...) before I posted my hint (again) :P ? No offense - none taken. Anyway, keep in mind, that if you use a specific input, it could be of some advantage to change the tuner input, too. Based on emperical evidence ;). And, maybe for the next (big) Helix firmware (manual) (v.3?) my L6 suggestion, to change / work on the (default multi) input option in tuner settings... P.S.: If you want to use one of the best tuning devices in the world, give your trained ears a chance, folks...
  11. ...was discussed here with regularity, for example http://line6.com/support/topic/23319-helix-through-headphones-sounds-awful/ Tip: This forum has a search function ;)
  12. Again my hint concerning the tuner settings: Double check what you really want to tune - "Multi" is not the proper option in many cases - and what / how many cable(s) you put in ;).

  15. Just read this: https://www.washingtonpost.com/graphics/2017/lifestyle/the-slow-secret-death-of-the-electric-guitar/?hpid=hp_hp-top-table-main_guitar-840a%3Ahomepage%2Fstory&utm_term=.ab1d7d1057ed Let's do something to find heroes ;)
  16. I was referring to your statement, that it needs a good pair of ears and guesswork... Surely an optical feedback (if it works not as a graphical toy) can be helpful. But turning 'mystery buttons until the sound is right' is a good idea, as long as your ears are trained ;) (I bought the Helix because it has colored LEDs, don't you know?!) I think that 'visible parameter settings' can be surely extended in the editor! There you have the (even bigger ;-)) monitor to use (more) visual indicators...
